I do not wax it anymore. It is ceramic coated now! as for driving, between not driving and doing a NY -peeble beach round trip in 2 weeks there is a middle ground. but you are right, when you work to make money and get these things, you have no time left to drive. When you dont work to make more time, you cannot afford to drive them anymore. What to do? lol.. We will sure follow, especially when you enter the grizzly bear counties!
I forgot your French This might take decades to decide....ha..... But I still love you.. So tell me again you clear coated the car, but it never gets driven.... Joe2 you know we are having fun..
Joey, when you really grow up from driving around the world, you will find that going to pick up your bread in the morning in the Countach doing a whole 2 miles to stop and shop with ceramic coating is truly rewarding! That being said are you going to post some short videos daily on the "event of the day" on your site or interesting place you stop by with the car in the background? Doing such a long trip could bring a little historical/geographical trivia along with car info. I know the schedule is very tight and you may not be able to do a lot on this. We do want a car daily health check!
Will do my friend. This website is friendly with pictures , so once a day I should be able to post. Will track, fuel, wear , check engine and all the rest for the closing of the new book. I put brand new Michelin pilots so they should be bologna skins by the time we return. If everything goes okay, its still a 13 year old car , getting home under its own power and we are healthy would be good enough. Its 8,400 miles hopefully in ten days. See you in september for the return home coming party my friend. GTJOEY1314/720
Ready to ride! Why man does these things is never really known It's the feeling of completing something or being a cowboy when everyone else follows like sheep Don't know but from my grandfather who traveled in a 1930 model A To me it's just in the blood 1 am Saturday morning. Enjoy the ride! Image Unavailable, Please Login

Did they ever bags for the VQ? Have fun. Will have to do a risk analysis report this week end and not about your trip
Well, looks like I'm living to at least 120, then. Joe, too bad you don't have a more southern route. I could have run interference a few miles ahead of you with the GTX1. I hope you would have at least waved as you passed me, pulled over on the side of the road by the constabulary. Safe trip, my friend.
Update just got to Chicago in 17 hours and that's with stops! Great ride the vanquish is just humming along!
very cool! More picts! Make sure you keep the car clean for it. Cobra He took up north from day 1 because the VQ does not like too much heat, I am sure. The engine bay gets quite hot.
That car is staying nice and clean Joey. You must have waxed it well. I'm certainly going to follow this with interest and I'm sure the Vanquish will be more than upto the task. It's great to hear how well its done on your first day.
