I thought that was a pretty exciting race yesterday
Nice late yellow to let Junior get back on the lead lap with around 10 laps to go! The car in question was almost behind the wall when they threw the yellow..what a joke!
I was there. So irritated. Cassil's car sat on the apron for about 2 laps before they called that caution. Bowyer had a great car and between that and the pit road penalty, we got screwed.
Someone always gets screwed. Or rather, someone always claims to have been screwed, but there is only ONE driver that can TRULY claim to get screwed on a regular basis, and she may be right.
I am TRYING to watch the all star race ..................... All this stage racing is getting a bit boring, let's drag it out with 20 minutes between stages ??????? Oh now we have "option" tires ? Sorry Brad you took them off, you can only use them once. And a bunch of BS rules to go with them. Well at least all the commercials are getting priority today.
Yeah, these All Star Race rules and changes (same with the shootouts) every year get a bit hard to swallow...
In NASCAR, the proper terminology, the racing has been secondary to the advertising for quite a while now. Welcome to 1991. BHW
I watched the two Saturday night races. I really didn't know wtf was going on. And I didn't care enough to find out.....
It took its' queue from F1, with it's tiered qualifying. And also with the points change from 9 6 4 3 2 1 to 10-9-8-7 etc., where most everyone gets at least ONE point a season...
nobody can run efficient qualifying anymore, Indycar has that ridiculous fast 12/fast 6 system, even FIA WEC has the two driver rule. it's silly, so much easier to give everyone a 30 minute session, go run what you can (or single car on an oval).
Dang I saw this and was wondering what the heck I missed. Then I saw the date and the Ahh Haa moment came.......... lol
Too bad Jr. Jr. Jr. didn't get the melancholy finish which certainly must have been promised to him from the locked room high above the track. BHW
you might be on to something...Arie in a Menards car is sure to result in at least a fistfight. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Great ending but WHY does NBC have to ruin every form of racing by having screaming Aussie fat boy Leigh Diffey cover every race ???!!!! First F1, then Indycar now Nascar. Fake, screaming drama and abusing every word in the English language...ugh
