We had a 355 in the shop over the weekend and I was reminded how many of these cars (along with 348’s) have original door sills that are worn, rusty and tattered.

Our carbon fiber door sills for the 348 & 355 are the perfect upgrade to the aged and rust-bubbled OE sills many owners have grown accustomed to looking at.

These carbon fiber replacement parts will not only never rust, but they’re more durable than the originals and give your Ferrari a fresh and updated look.

We source our carbon fiber from the same supplier and to the same specification as Ferrari for an exact match to the OEM carbon fiber used on newer and current F-cars, so it won’t look out of place on your car. We then coat the parts with a UV resistant high gloss automotive urethane clear coat and hand polish to a mirror finish.

Not only can our carbon be washed, but it can also be waxed, polished, and treated just like the painted surface of your car.

With our carbon fiber sill upgrade you can address a known problem area on the 348/355 series models in under an hour while noticeably improving your car’s appearance. Our sills also accept the rubber inlays from the OE sills for a perfect factory look.

Our sills fit like factory and fit the following models...
    1989-1994 F348 models including Spider
    1995-1999 F355 models including Spider

    Our kit includes...
-Left & Right carbon fiber door sills
    -3M adhesive promoter
    -Complete installation instructions with photos

To purchase you can call us direct at 905-290-8961 or purchase online anytime at CarbonioDirect.com

Seeing as the rust prone Ferrari parts cost almost $450 EACH we thought the pair of CF ones for $600 represented pretty good value :D

That said if you are still not convinced shoot us off a PM and we'll extend some love to a fellow F-Chatter.

I have had these on my car for three years now. This coupled with the SS inserts (and a little love to make them fit) is about as sexy as a door sill can get. :)

+1 for a great fitting product.

I have a set on my 355 also & they look great & you can't beat the price.

Too bad Carbonio does not make other parts for 355.

Beautiful! The OEM door sills for the 348 have a (3mm?) lip that turns 90 degrees downward at the outer edge. Do you have a 348 version with that edge or is this one made to fit both 348 and 355 without it? Thanks!

Would be cool if Carbonio made other CF parts for the 355?

    It does look nice.
Did you glue or use 3m tape to hold the oem insert in?

It would be good if this product was also offered witout the insert...just a plain flat piece of carbon. That would look nice imo.

Mario - I'm thrilled that you are happy with the product! The guy I know does really nice work.

They're a bit pricey... ~$250+shipping for a set of two, but they are very high quality pieces that are hand made and require a lot of finishing & polishing. If anyone is interested, send me a PM or email and I will reach out to the guy I know who used to make them and see if he'll make more sets.

Thank you all for the positive comments and photos. It is always great to hear feedback from our customers. Of course one of the biggest questions we get with the sills is 'Can I get a Ferrari Insert?'. We made our sills to the exact dimensions as stock so that the OEM rubber insert that says 'Ferrari' on it can be transferred to it. Beyond that we cannot make and sell anything with the Ferrari name on it or Ferrari's lawyers will shut us down faster than a new 488.

That said there are unofficial solutions that many of our customers have taken up that give almost infinite flexibility to keep the Ferrari name and or personalize the sill anyway you like. Case in point is the sill below where a customer of ours went to a local sign shop and had high quality decals cut for his sills. The decal shop found the logos online almost instantly and gave him lots of colour choice and even added the horse all for $20 cash and about 30 minutes of waiting while the work was done. Certainly an inexpensive way of keeping the Ferrari name while tailoring it your your taste all for a really low cost. Just some food for thought :)

With spring just around the corner many cars are getting some love to have them ready for the driving season. Why not spruce up those tattered OEM sills with some CF goodness.

I do not have weight data between these and stock. Realistically it would be improper for me to sell these on any 'weight' benefits as their true value comes as an aesthetic upgrade that modernizes the look of the sills while offering a solution for the factory sills that are prone to rust.

I understand that's why people replace them, just thought if the originals are steel there may be difference in weight as well.
