1976 F-308 GTB Yellow / black Vin # 20191 Miles : 62,159 original miles as reflected on title This 1976 F-308 GTB has been sitting for quite some time (we do not know exactly how long). The car does runs and drive. We have NO service records, no books, no tools. This is a great candidate for an easy restoration. The paint is mediocre at best, the interior is in fair to good condition. We are offering this rare 1976 GTB to the FCHAT community only, before we put through our restoration shop. If purchased at asking price, roughly how much more would the restoration cost be to make it show worthy?
That would largely depend on who was doing the work - if we were doing it ourselves, it would probably be around $25k for paint, interior, and service, but I can't speak to what another shop would charge or how far a particular customer would want to take it.
BUMP $77,500 as she sits OR $100k fully restored (this will take approximately 120 days to complete). Thank you, Artie (IAG) 954-958-0000
I couldn't do a paint and service on that car at that pricing! Also depends on whether the buyer is happy with the non stock things seen in/on the engine. I generally suggest a customer simply gets this type of car on the road and enjoys it, patina and all. Nice car, don't get me wrong, best colour combo in my mind. GLWS
Thank you Brian. As a classic / investment car dealer that specializes in Ferrari, we have been conducting business in Florida since 1989. Our volume of restorations and long term relationships allow us to get work done at dealer/wholesale pricing without sacrificing quality. We have won numerous Platinum Awards at Cavallino for our restorations, and very much enjoy relaying that type of product and quality to our clients. Best regards, IAG
Not You can tell by just looking for a seam between the roof and the windshield pillar on both sides.
Most of my bodywork has to sub out, I have fabulous interior guys, and we have rebuilt many of these mechanically. You are in a great market and I am sure your numbers are good, maybe I should ship my 1953 Pre A 356 down there! I did have a Pantera done in NC, great job at less than I could get it done here including shipping, lol. Nice steel car, 10/76 is it actually a 77? Can't see the wheels in pics.
Thank you guys. To be very clear, this NOT a fibergalss example. Also the car comes with 2 sets of wheels, the factory wheels and a set of aftermarket that are currently on the car. The car is titled as a 1976. Thank you and as always offers are welcome.
Easier to spot in pictures is a very small license plate indentation for wet sumps and no indent at all for dry sumps. The seam on the A pillar can be hard to spot. This car has the usual wide license indent so easy to say steel!
hmm. Very nice. I LOVE the yellow F cars (mine is). Hemmings recent sale of the last 77' GTB on there (month ago now) was close to this, but a bit under. GTB's are definitely where it's at. This is the first yellow GTB I have seen in some time for sale.
