to me the scud is the best of both worlds. Technologically advanced than the CS but not as much to the point that you feel that you are driving a computer. Faster than a CS, and almost as fast as all newer Ferrari models. Raw enough but not to the point that you get a headache after driving it for an hour. I love it!!! One of the greatest cars I've ever owned! After all, it was developed with the help and input of Michael Schumacher. Can you say that for another car?
Well at least DannyBoy hasn't mentioned prices. Yet. After 10 years with a CS, over 1 year with a Speciale, and a number of Scuderia outings I pretty agree with you guys. The Scuderia is a blast to drive...much more so than the CS. In fact if I were to pick between the two and buy one, it would be the Scuderia over the CS. Sorry CS owners.
Scud is newer and better. Just like speciale is better than the scud. It is what it is. Image Unavailable, Please Login
What's wrong you can,t read English , do you understand this a Scuderia is a better car then a CS what more do you need to know
I can read fine. Seems to me, you're referring to yourself. See below @scuderia09 Let's put this to bed. Above is the original post from this thread. Please read it and stay on topic. Simple supply and demand alone tells us the odds favor a CS as the better investment. Deal with it. History has shown, the better performing car doesn't necessarily yield a better long term investment. ie GTO, f40 etc etc... You trying to compare the Scud's performance to an Enzo regarding return on investment is silly. Once again, stay on topic or start another thread " why owners are soooo madly in love with their scuderias." (eyes rolling) It doesn't amount to a hill of beans and adding nothing to the topic at hand. In there you can post all the pics you want. It won't change the fact it'll always be 2nd tier in the looks department.
Yes i,am on the Topic for sure, just suck it up a Scud. is a better car it's all about performance and it's is a better investment car and it does keep up to the Enzo, so buy yourself a Scud.
ah.... CS scud war??? come on, Im a CS owner and i've driven the scud for like 2miles. and......the scud just amazed me transmission-wise. But I turned down the request for a swap from the scud owner. He'll have to add $150,000 to the swap.
Recently sold inventories say otherwise. Cleanest examples indicate cs > scuderia (Minus 16m). I let the marketplace speak. Our opinions don't mean anything. I like to base my logic on facts ..not fairytale...
I am not adding/deleting any OEM parts on my CS, but if pride and prejudice isn't a problem, I'd change the CS the following way: 1. superfast II gear change. 2. a little faster steering wheel turns. ( but not to the point of a 360 challenge car) 3. rev a little higher, I don't care about engine rebuild every, say, 60,000 km if i can rev to 10,000 rpm. What im saying is that it is ABLE to rev to 10,000 rpm, not that just will rev to that for every trip. 4. Add an "auto" option like the Modena. 5. gear change lever rotates with steering wheel. 6. move the brake pedal to the left just a little bit, since I left-foot brake on all of my cars as a habbit , including my lincoln town car. 7. get rid of the headlight washer, it ANNOYS me!
You've already been banned once for not playing well with others. I'd say drop the personal insults. And FYI, you're posts ARE hard to read. Yes I know English isn't your first language but still a comma and an apostrophe are not interchangeable.
It does trade higher Yellow Compass just sold a nice CS for $175K on F chat, just one bid so i guess the demand wasn't too high. I haven't seen any scuds in that price range for a long time unless mileage was super high or other issues.
Very true. Main difference is how the front of the CS feels planted compared to standard 360. Brakes are miles better, even though they squeal big time. The drama of the CS is far superior to the Scud. Probably superior to the drama of most Ferrari post and pre CS. I remember when the Scud came out, all of the scud first owners I know also had a CS. ALL of them were feeling the CS was far superior at the limit and a much better car than the Scud. All of them sold the Scud and hold on the CS.
all over the board!!! 200K-240K for average mile car 8,000-15,000 miles most of the ones trading hands not even up for sale... from guys who own, to guys who want... and know cars are excellent cond.. mid 250s-290s.
