I live in a Condo and I have two parking spaces, at one point I had 4 cars (360, Shelby Cobra 65 and an Audi A7) and my wife's Cayenne Turbo plus my Ducati, so I had to rent two spaces. I walk to work so I decided to get rid of two cars (toys) and just enjoy my Ferrari and my bike every chance I have. My wife drives a Grand Cherokee but I think I will replace it with a Q7 or a XC90 now that the family got bigger Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Man I LOVE the Diablos, actually I was considering getting one, they will go up in value just like the Countach in some years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I assume there was a 993 turbo at some point and that you really regret of letting it go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

. You got me. It's red though! In fact that very day whilst they were out a couple of younger local neighbourhood children were passing and commented on the Ferrari, Spider and Aston Martin. My neighbour, Jennie was very impressed with her AM

I enjoy this thread as it's interesting to see what cars motoring enthusiasts covert and their taste in models/marques and also to ponder " Why!!" I never understand Ferrari owners having Porsches as they are such polar opposites in my view. But I can understand Ferrari owners having a Mazda MX5 ( Miata) as they are a sort of baby Ferrari in a way and great cars and I have owned a number of them. I like the collections best when they have some sort of theme not that my cars perhaps show this, but I like to think they are design led in terms of style and engineering. I think it would make the thread even better to include a comment on why the owner loves or purchased the car as this gives perspective and we are too often led, I think, by general consensus or perceived wisdom, rather than owners views which I hold in greater regard. Anyway: 1934 Austin 7 Special ( all car nuts should own a vintage car ( that means pre-war) as the mechanical feel is a delight and something you cant experience in more modern stuff .Mine is a one-off boat tailed special and is just charming in every way) 1964 Jaguar E-Type FHC Series 1 ( most beautiful car ever made with one of the greatest engines) 1977 Lamborghini Countach LP400 ( not the most beautiful but perhaps the most striking and a wondrous thing to drive) 1981 Ferrari 308GSi ( beautiful shape and timeless and makes a surprisingly good GT for continental trips ) 2000 Ferrari 360 F1 (best looking modern Ferrari and it may surprise many to say I prefer the paddle shift, as it suits this car ) 2001 S class Merc 430L ( Huge V8 in barge like car with limo space in back. Weekend car and perfect as a holiday cruiser not that I get away that often. No badges, so a Q car and a amorphous shape that means it looks presentable for a business meeting but not flash, unlike the more modern versions . Bit like the car equivalent of comfort food ) 2000 Hyundai Sonata V6 auto DD ( the worst and ugliest car ever made and its rusting around me but it just wont break no matter how hard I wish it to, and is the delight of friends and colleagues who laugh at me ( and it ) but as a daily driver its perfect as its the one car I really don't care about ( ok, I do get a bit attached to any car no matter how horrid but that is the mark of a true enthusiast) so scratches and bumps at shopping centres and salt roads and puddles offer little fear.)

Newer vehicles might as well be an appliance like a toaster.... Every enthusiast should own and maintain a vehicle that is carbureted with no O2 sensors and emission systems.
