Yes it is...The vents look perfect as do those fantastic wire wheels that look exactly like the real cars. By the way the Profil 24 Ferrari 312 was listed on the website as available in early March but they did not ship until 2 weeks ago like you said. He was behind schedule by almost 2 weeks from the March 21st release date.
This transkit for the Hasegawa 328 has been out for awhile but still available. Made in Russia to a high standard. Modelling Master Ferrari 308 rally 1/24 resin kit Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here are a few pictures of the Profil 24 Ferrari 312P 1969 Lemans car I received this week...A very simple curbside much like the Profil 24 1/24th curbside kits, but with a higher level of detail on the parts due the fact they are a lot larger. The body is very nice and has rivet detail. Photoetch sheet is kind of small and has latches, hinging, light bezels ect. No machined parts. Vacuform looks good. Kind of reminds me of a Retrotoys kit with less photoetch parts and no metal parts. The body on the Profil 24 Ferrari 312P I have to say is superb, infact the best of this car I have ever seen in any scale (the main reason I bought it) . Engineering on the kit is strange but it should be easy to build as it is so simple. Some work could be done on the side windows to add detail. The French have a great eye for shapes, but this is no Hiro. Don't expect a super kit as this is just a curbside. Last Monday I received my 312P kit and I must say, you are right Tom, the kit is very simple. Actually to simple for this price, they could put at least some seatbelt material in the kit. The shape of the body is OK, but I am going to use other rivets, because my body has lost some.
I agree, it could be better for the price. The body is very nice and accurate looking. In this day and age multimedia means different materials, not just resin pieces and a small photo etch sheet. This is their first 1/12th kit so maybe this is a learning curve. I am glad it is curbside as I don't have enough time to build all these full detail kits. I wish Hiro would do a few of their big kits curbside. Next 1/12th kit from Hiro will be the Lancia S4 rally car. P.S. Profil 24 could learn a lot from Mini Delta on how to make great kits!

P.S. Profil 24 could learn a lot from Mini Delta on how to make great kits![/QUOTE] I believe they know each other so it could happen. I received my 312P last week - its a good start and I am sure they will improve (next to my Fisher 312P it looks enormous!) Jeremy
Yes, and the bottom line is it will build up into a very nice model that does not require a month of nonstop building like the Hiro 1/12th kits.
