Wow cool shirt! Good luck with the project. If you could get a plate with OUT RUN it would be perfect.

Had a quick hour of digging around the car in the garage tonight.

Wiring all looks complete just disconnected, this is where my other Testarossa is going to come in very useful to trace where some of these connectors go, only issue is my other car is a Euro 1990 and this is an 86/87 car so Im guessing there will be a few differences.

Fuse box looks good, but only time will tell as I know this is a problem area on TRs

a few panel and wheel arches mission from the front trunk area. Cables all look to be complete though.

Planning of changing the side indicators/markers to Euro spec, I think they are much cleaner and flow better with the cars lines than the big square US style....... long way off doing this though :)

Overall Im pretty impressed with the car, there are bound to be many gremlins that appear during the course of the project but so far so good.

    Engine is complete
All the major wiring looms look to be in place
Bodywork is decent, some parts need work.
Side windows and windscreen are all good
suspension & steering .....im not to sure about as yet.

Even if it looks good, pull it and send to Dave Helms. The best money you will spend on the car besides upgrading the differential.

Picked up some 16" wheels as the old ones with TRX tyres cost a fortune. These work out with a decent set of modern tyres cheaper than replacing the old rubber

Im starting to piece together the parts and refit them to the car, I can then work out what parts are missing and make a start trying to source the rare stuff.

Today I have ordered a full service kit, cam belts and tensioners to start the engine work :)

..... still no keys though :(

Yes he is painting it white. No, seriously......you must paint it white. I repainted my pocher TR white. It was a pain to polish out the imperfections haha.

    If this was my project....

    1) Send out motor for major belt change, evaluate mechanical components.
    2) Start finishing the body work/prep for paint.
    3) While that is being done, search for missing parts on the net.
    4) Paint.
    5) Re assemble and be the hero of Fchat.
