For the whole race or did something happened and its temp? Is that the same section where the car got airborne a few weeks ago?

    Whole race presumably.
The Nissan went into the crowd at Flugplatz. Aremberg is ~1.5m further on.

Now this is a proper motor race! Come on SCG! Gripping stuff - and what a circuit. I'm watching the coverage on YouTube with radio Le Mans commentary- it's not bad, definitely watchable.

SCG #9 car just violated the slow zones for the second time, this one will cost them 3.32min (the first cost them around 1:30min).

Apart from the penalties everything is running fine as far as I know

I just can't wrap my brain around a racetrack with speed limits. Got to be frustrating for the drivers.

I get they are trying to be safe. The drivers know the risks, move the fans away from that section or fix the track to make it less dangerous.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Just don't let people stand there and/or improve the fencing.

Besides Napolis, are any of you guys there? I planned on going this year, but just could get it together. I will make a trip in the next few years.

Joe Elliott just gave up and hit the bed. The live feed is great. For me it is better than being there

77 laps done by the leader, SCG003 in 34th place 8 laps back.

    +1
Obviously a much different experience being involved with a race team, or even spectating with good friends at a camp site but the one 24hr race I went to solo at LeMans in '99 was boring as hell. After a few laps all the classes are mixed up and you have no idea about the order.
Would have been better if I had a radio to listen to commentators, but don't think I would have stayed much longer than the 4 hours I was there even if I did.

11.5 hours to go.... looking forward to checking the order first thing in the morning!

    g'night all

    SCG003 back on the track!
Commentators said it's had issues with "power steering, brakes and alternator belt"
    Ferrari components? :/ jk
