    There is a red turbo 2 that attends the Katie's C&C most weeks in Great Falls, VA. I followed him in last week. I don't know who the owner is but I have a few pics of it at home I can post up.

    There is post in this thread somewhere I inquired if anyone knows who that is. I have seen it driving on Rt7 late to Katies as I was leaving and seen Katie's photo threads including the car but never gotten to speak to owner. Think it has Maryland plates. Anybody know?

    nice. I see the black car has the devil exhaust and looks to have the roll cage as well?

    can I assume the 270hp engine version or full tour de course?

    The car is far from stock, and has many modifications which makes this car more reliable, powerful and safer. The original turbo system consisted of a throttle body on the intake side of the turbo which fed through a CIS injection system and through an air to air intercooler. My car has the throttle body on the output of the turbo (correct way) using a GMC Typhoon throttle body and water to air intercooler. The water to air intercooler is cooled by a small radiator and pump. The CIS has been replaced by Electromotive EFI (3 bar MAP sensor)and MSD DIS2 distribuless ignition with individual coils per cylinder, Electromotive program . The boost is controlled by a knob on the dash (14-26PSI) The water pump was removed and a remote mounted electric pump installed with a bypass thermostat for proper cooling of the engine. The air to oil cooler (fire hazard and destroyed many cars) was removed and replaced by a water to oil cooler. The old fuel system consisted of 3 pumps was replaced by one Bosch 044. The 55 amp Bosch Alternator has been replace with a 105 amp GM 1 wire to accommodate the electrical needs. Renault Maxi racing shocks...

    Hi Kerim

    I have a White 1982 R5 Turbo currently going through a full restoration that will be finished in February 2015.

    The car is currently in New Jersey but may be moved to our other house in Lake Ariel PA once it is finished. If you have firm dates, let me know and I will see if I am available.

    Sorry, haven't read through much of this thread. He definitely has MD plates. I followed him in all the way from 495 near Silver Spring.

    I could try to put a note on his car next time I am down there if you want. It will be a few weeks before I can make it to C&C again though.

    Yeah, I am counting on Phil to bring the 037, and hopefully his Stratos as well. Likely the first time in N America a Statos, 037 and Delta are all in one place. There is an announcement coming soon to make this event more awesome. Not my beans to spill.

    Not the real thing, but looks good! The original Maxi's are going through the roof. As well as original T1's..T2 are slowly creeping right behind with them. Best to do least mod's and keep original as possible . These are the ones that people are looking for. The "MAXI look " will not get as much as it is limited to a buyer that would like to use it on track only. BUT WE STILL LOVE IT!

    Agreed.....I have an extra engine plus a ton of other parts....but im pretty sure that car won't ever be the same. I thought it would be cool to build a race car out of it.
