A real mini????? The ones with sliding glass windows?????? Ohhhh boy oh boy oh boy!!!!! I do love mini's!!!!! It's a Ferrari with 8 less cylinders!!!
NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! I used to love that race. Was about fun and who could last the longest. That is sad
I'm sorry but that is not a real mini!!! A real mini has sliding glass windows, joe lucas electrics,(something for you to do in the dark) and an oil puddle the size of Lake Michigan under it. (gotta love the brits) The new ones are still fun!!!! (they just lack character)
back on track...NOLA this weekend...forecast is EXTREMELY wet (80-100% chance of rain each day)... anyone want to start a bet on how many aero kits get smashed this weekend? recall that all the teams chose to sit out wet practice at St Pete...so nobody has a clue how the aero kits jive with a wet weather setup and tires...
That's money in the bank for the one who takes the odds. The question is how much money will be turned into junk at the end of the race????
If two IndyCars crash on a track and no one is there to watch it, does it still cost money? Will be out of town this weekend, set the DVR for F1, couldn't be bothered to do the same for this.
Yup. Or, "suppose they held a race and no one came?"...oh, wait... Is IndyCar similar to Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy?
No. Santa Claus makes people happy as does the tooth fairy. Besides they both don't say ....."you have to use this tooth brush or this stocking to hang by the chimney". If the did....someone would have both their @sses in his gun sites!!!
That has already happened, GrandAm's failed attempt to to an event at Indianapolis on the same weekend as NASCAR. Instead of putting GrandAm "on the map" running in front of NASCAR crowds, it had the exact opposite effect as none of GrandAm's new "Man on the street" fans decided to show up and the races ran in front of 300,000 empty seats. I've been to club events that got more spectators. BHW
Worse they turned down a concert deal that drew 35,000 college age kids to a cornfield outside of Indy on the same weekend. It was unreal.
ahhhh....so that's why the Speedway became so "concert friendly" all of a sudden. seems like every event has 2-3 concerts as part of the weekend entertainment now.
change the core product to appeal to customers again? or maybe I'd just keep booking washed up one hit wonders. tough call.
I actually didn't know that. it was an interesting conversation at the time. I got priced out of GA level racing a couple of years ago si I'm not current.
I will go with your original answer. Seeing Loverboy or Toto this late in life leaves me indifferent.
Watching the live stream of practice for the Indy Grand Prix of Louisiana at NOLA Motorsports Park. Cars and track look fast.
