you know Rick, even though I own a black 400a and previously owned a black 400i, I was still blown away by how beautiful this car looks in black...especially with the Crema inside. I've never seen a 365 in black and once we added the newly acquired wheels and XWX's, the car was just transformed. thanks.
Sounds like you were bitten by the Great Recession, not Obama.....but I'm glad to hear your story of recovery! And your car looks fantastic.
I challenge anyone to walk by that car without stopping and likely cleaning a bit of drool off their chin! It's absolutely stunning! I don't know any of the people involved in this project but have warm feelings for each. This is what stewardship is all about. Kudos everyone!
Mitch, I was there to hear your car fire up and get the timing set for the first run.. My comment to you is you're going to love this one. She is sounding great!!! More advise to you is take a deep breath.. These things are best not rushed. I think you're going to love the finished product, but let them do their thing. If you're not happy waiting, let me know maybe I should own her.. Seriously be patient, good things come to those who wait. I will also add this about Brett's shop.. Very impressive, not in the looks rather in the work being done! I think you're in good hands! Btw.. Brett didn't put me up to this post, lol
yesterday...today is front valance, fog lights, grill, hood...and further interior refreshing. the first pic is for you Keith ! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hey I really like that white TR in the background!!! I bet the owner is a really cool dude like Sonny Crocket!
Brett, is the grill clear coated? Annodized? Mine is looking a bit pitted but I haven't dared to touch it.

Dave_O--classic response. You're awesome. Give yourself a pat on the back. Ok now back to the car. *sigh*
I'm sure there have been lots that have been taken far beyond this level George...this is simply addressing what needed done...nothing more...and no, not a show car.
I know, right ? I would have addressed it, but Mitch 'explained' it to me....so, let it go, for Mitch's sake.
thanks Tom...I sure wish it was mine...I love it far more in Black than I do my own Marrone coloured car... and while I do have a Black 400a, there's something far more special about this car...the wheels are part of it, but the Crema interior really has a hold of me...which surprises me. this car is James Bond in his tuxedo...a real man's car.
I do not like that this thread had been garbaged. please stick with the car. thank you. I could have written off the purchase cost but i wanted to save the car. I seem to fix every car I get. a problem for my cash flow. my garage project will stop until next spring. all the walls got up, and the roof is finished. attached are 3D architect drawings. this is the living quarters Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
