Agree with Brett. That does look quite nice. A low serial number for the model (is it really one of the alleged four prototypes?), nice color, clean/tidy engine bay, with what appears to be a fair number or original and/or OEM bits, including mouse hair dash and Voxon radio. Mileage seems too low not have flipped, but I guess you never know. Anyone have any history on the car? While I try not to get too involved in market hype, it will be intesting to see at what price the hammer falls.

I am very angry to see this car in these conditions.
I don't have any particular history on it, but as we have received a few pictures of its restoration in progress, I was expecting very much of it.

This car is the third pre serie car (after #15897 & #16291), and the car used in pictures for the official brochure. + The car of the 1972 Brussels Car Show.

Don't have any particular history on it. Was US FOC Register in 1990 and 1998 as well.
It could have been sold new to an american enthusiast or dealer at the Brussels Show, or sold later. Don't know.

A F-Chatter owned this car several years ago. He should know more about it.

    Well.
Who has done the paint ?
Who has done the dashboard ?
    Where are the seats ?
Who has done the leather and chosen the color ?
I am not an expert, but it looks dreadful to me.

This car left the factory with these specificities :
    Azzurro 2.443.648
    Pelle Blu VM 3282
    Blu Carpets

Wish I had the $ to do a full restoration on my car, make it like the day it was completed at the factory.

So, what is the claim here? This is the car in the brochure? This was Enzo's personal car he used daily? He drove it once and was photographed in it? I'm confused.
It seems Marcel's information does not concur with yours.
I've heard that Enzo seldom drove at all and was mostly driven around in a Fiat sedan.

#16293 is the third Pre Serie Car. The car used in the Brochure, and the car of the Brussels Show car (I would say of January 1973, but not confirmed).

Enzo Ferrari has been shooter in a 365. But no more.

The fact that an Azzurro car (coming from Maranello Rosso Collection) has been used in the movie Enzo Ferrari does not prove that E. Ferrari had a personal 365.

Here is the interior. I would be very surprised if this wasn't the finest 365 GT4 in existence. It runs extremely well too.

I was at Blackhorse yesterday and Carl showed me his extensive research. Certainly appears to be Enzo's car, and I completely agree with the others who said this is likely the nicest 365 in existence. The colors are beautiful and the quality of Carl's restoration can't be beat.

    Everybody can be beat.
This car is one of the most important for the 365 GT4 2+2 enthusiasts.
Why having chosen this light blue leather ? Should be dark blue.
Paint seems to be granular and does not look like an truly azzurro hyperion
This car was authentic, probably used, but authentic. I was expecting something better if it requested to be restored.

Would be very interested, like others, to know why it is considered as an ex. Enzo Ferrari's car.
An rumor to grow up the auction price ?

Look at the dark blue one at Movendi Shop, in Germany. It is largely nicer.

Drop the façade and come out the closet.
Any jerk off, 'arm chair QB' can hide behind an avatar and criticize.
Why not man up and join the club, like for real ?
Scared ? Agenda ? Competitor ? All of the above ?

if it really really has been Enzo`s car, it is a shame it has been ""restored"" , losing all its hart and soul in the proces... But that is just my humble opinion.
I regret to see more and more good cars being torn apart to get (better than) new.
To what use? degrade them to garage queens?
