I start this thread because there is no real "place for non-sense" postings ... for our TR's imo.

That is a nice TR! And if you have access to a really large 3D printer you can print your own TR in 1:1 :)

3D print the parts. That would be great for the NLA ones or the too expensive ones.

I do see over here in Europe that 512TR foglenses will be a stopper soon !

Replica plastic lensen could be a nice thing, but what is cheap Claude ? I thin a pricing of around $ 400 is rediculous ...

What info do you have ? Did you use one ?

No new info Mel and I didn't use any, but when something is availaible it is much better than nothing at all. I was just thinking about the one Superformance UK sell for 199GBP. I think it is a reasonable price in comparison with many other part price.

I thought you might be referring to the ones Squadro Nuvolari makes. I bought a pair for my car when one of my lenses broke. Overall, they were pretty good - the plastic was decent, and they had all the correct markings, but they had some light pitting I couldn't polish out, I had to trim quite a bit of flashing to make them fit, the markings weren't as crisp as the originals, and at $700 US, they were a little pricey.
Don't get me wrong, they're a perfectly acceptable replacement, and I'm glad they were available when I needed them, but I thought maybe someone could do a set better and more cheaply with a 3d printer.

Hi guys, the replica's in USA (are they now called ? Squadro Nuvolari ?) ... have only USA version lenses ! So not right for all other countries !

I bought one but cannot use it .... :(

I see no 512TR headlightunits for sale anywhere on Intenet and also not at Superformance ... can you send the link if correct please Claude ?

Ok , I got one for you in tr talk.

Don't you find it odd that of the entire 12 banger Ferrari line up the Testarossa having the most impact in Ferrari going global, and one of the most recongnizable ferrari's in the world, is also one of the CHEAPEST of the 12 banger series to buy...if not the cheapest.

Isn't that a kick in the crotch ?

Countach's are such the bargain in the maintence department , and being worth 3x the price of a Testarossa.

Ever redo engine or carb work on a Daytona ? ;)

Though Audi r8s sure are cheap to run , and not depreciating nearly as much;)
