Is this scenario possible: 1. Pick 3 very loyal clients & contact them 2. Make tweaks on Aventador shape, add wings, holes & flaps 3. Increase engine power with software tweaks 4. Call clients to see the car 5. Offer them to buy that car FOR SAME PRICE AS AVENTADOR, with contract obligation for silence about real price 6. Promote car on most important automotive car showroom with insanely high price as already sold out I can see benefits.
Even though Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds was the what Julien called one of his child hood paintings the lyrics are apt. (In a good way) Picture yourself in a boat on a river, With tangerine trees and marmalade skies. Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly, A girl with kaleidoscope eyes. Cellophane flowers of yellow and green, Towering over your head. Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes, And she's gone. Two of the four are coming to the East Coast of the US and The Silver one will stay in the Lambo Museum. US owners are nice guys. You're right about the LMP 1 fender pontoons as the Homage to Audi LMP 1 headlights clearly show. The pontoons are on the F70 as well, a bit more so more in the nose. These were a buy and will trade a lot higher possibly very soon.
They are. It's called The R20 and it will be VERY special. Years ago I asked them to do a one off for me along these lines but the problem then was the gearbox. The Diesel angine we were going to use made 750 ft/lb of torque and there weren't street gearboxes that could handle it. I still have the sketches they made for me and they were cool although I wanted more LMP1 in the project. The designer at the time had just finished the 8C and then moved on to Audi. I met him at the Paris Auto Show where we showed P 4/5 and I bought the first 8C.
yeah I read about that thing and I am very excited to see it. I love when companies go crazy. like when Cadillac made the Cien and Chrysler answered back with the ME412.
if I was a billionaire I would collect weird cars like I collect car models. the more unusual or unique the better. not for showing off to others, but to surround myself with strange and wonderful things. of course I would not deny enthusiasts an opportunity to see the cars either.
They're pretty big presentation boards. As we've sold our Investment Management Business and am moving our remaining operations they're packed up but PM me in a few months and I'll dig them out and take a photo of them. I don't think they'd fit in our scanner.
I get car and driver through kindle and there is a picture of the F70 in it. Not sure if this a sketch or the timing of the release was just 12 hours early...
Generally embargos are respected but mistakes do happen. Car and Driver released P 4/5 photos and story one day early.
true but theres usually someone who takes the risk. its pretty impressive that they have kept it under wraps.
