I won't be surprised if that is the case. Otherwise, somebody had a change of heart and wanted a boat instead.
Can you find out what kind of recent sales took place on copart? I'm curious what these Flood cars are going for.

One of the Moods merged a few of my threads. Please remove the "water/flood damage" reference in the thread title b/c not all of the cars sustained this type of damage. TIA.
That thing has 10 different shades of red. Worst attempt at paint matching I've seen in a long while.

We had some bad flooding a couple of months ago, around mid November. High tide + 8" of rain in an hour made lots of flooding.

can someone school me on flooded cars? if it runs, and the electrics are good, is it worth getting, and repairing, what ever the repairs might be?? Very unfamiliar with this. I think would rather deal with a flood damaged car that was not ran than a wrecked one? since the car is made out of aluminum, and maybe the bolts havent rusted yet it may be a good deal? Water cant get that high in a lot of these areas for it to literally ruin a car. So what factors a flood damaged car?
A flood car goes one of two ways. You either dry it out, replace a few things and thank your lucky stars when you never have another problem.....OR, the more likely scenario, you spend a fortune chasing down computer and electrical problems, throwing endless money at the car, having transmission and engine issues, and end up drunk at a bar wondering how you now have spent MORE on your branded title/flood car than you would have buying a clean one to begin with....because now YOU are the one 'under water'.
so, flood car plus one damaged car = one newish car lol you transfer things between one and the other to make a complete car, and part out the rest

I heard of another site like Copart, IAAI. I have no affiliation with IAAI, Copart, or any of the cars I post. I post this info simply as a PSA for anyone that might be interested today and as a record of the vehicle for future buyers. Mods, Please change the thread title to read "Copart & IAAI...damage 360/430's thread" TIA.
