I see tires that low pro all the time and can only imagine how harsh the ride is but I chance a guess that those are just for the rendering.

That's a photoshop of the concept, with different wheels and a drop.

I think those were 92's that had the snap ring issue, and it was only a certain range of them.

Any thoughts on the advantages/disadvantages of having the engine transversely mounted in the rear? Packaging?? Most, MR cars have a longitudinally mounted engine.
The electric motors up front could be real trick... possibly something similar to how the Ferrari FF handles front end traction.

The advantages (compared to a longitudinal solution) would be that they could use an existing drivetrain and then there's the packaging (possible to have a larger cockpit with the same wheelbase).
Disadvantages? It will be hard to fit a V12 in there (even if it has been done before).

We'll see if it really happens.
This car's front grill area is too busy and it has the chrome Acura proboscus.
With any luck Honda has faced the main problem with the original and has made the total HP numbers comparable to a Ferrari of today; @500.
Hats off for the active/vectoring hybrid drive system. If anyone can do it right for a decent price it will be Honda.

I do like the more pure clean lines of the concept posted in reply #42. (dont know how to link)

Either way my 91 is a keeper. Perhaps my favorite car.

Its okay. Nothing special. Too much R8...too much pedestrian Acura.

Love the same old f-chat comments on new cars...Any front engined car looks too much like a corvette, while any rear/mid engined car looks a little too R8/Boxsterish

Now that you say it, it wasn't exactly the golden age of sports cars...

What he said. Although the original interior was updated Accord, not terribly mold-breaking.

Agree, and it looks like someone borrowed the Aston Vantage tail lamps and door handles at the last minute to make it more exotic looking.

Well, if you subscribe you'll get the more intelligent comments. For free, you're stuck with our economy-level observations about boobs, tires and what we would buy if we had 10-car garages and bottomless bank accounts.

    no, it wasn't :(

but the NSX was a big part of moving the sports car market forward. for that reason alone it's a legendary car.

agreed....i didn't say looking like an R8 was a bad thing, but IMO the next NSX should be revolutionary, not evolutionary from an already production model IMO

Spot on in my opinion aswell. It would be nice to see a few subtle hints of the past design in small features but not the overall design, does that make any sense?

IMHO Acura under promised by showing the car in this color, the Photo Shops clearly show that in other colors, it will look much better. One thing I do agree on is, they need to get rid of the BEAK.

Overall, I quite like it, but agree that they could do with less chrome on the front - otherwise it accentuates the front grill a bit too much. I think redoing that critical component on the front in a matt black would be a good improvement. I imagine it's a key part of the crash protection / crumple zone so deleting it with aftermarket tweaks probably isn't an option.

I'm feeling a lot of anti-beak vibes recently... mii miiii mii mii. :(

    :D

    All the best,
    Andrew.

I agree. In the last photoshopped pic, the car looks excellent. The true test is how it looks like person. I always hold off final judgment until I see something first hand.
