Could someone please tell me what the car in the middle is?Bizzarrini Manta.
It would be more efficient to simply PM you but I've got to give the others a shot. You are impressive sir. David
I will be posting a series of pics, here is the first one. And by the way, I don't know the answers, that's why I'm doing this, I want to find out, ha ha. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks, I looked at some photos of the C D G, I see a lot of convertibles, and some coupes, & while I see a lot of similarities, the front ends didn't look exactly the same, & it seems like all of them have some kind of vent piece on the fender behind the front wheel, which this one doesn't appear to have. Was this a model/year variance?
I'm not sure of model year variances on the CDG's - they were only produced (I believe) from '56-'58. Apparently there were a number of concepts built as well, so the picture you provided may may be one. The picture below is a Ghia-designed "Chrysler Special" at the Chrysler museum, and while very similar still has some notable differences in the bumper/fender configuration in the front-end. Hell, for all I know I could be wrong, but if it's not a variant of a CDG I'd sure like to see someone positively ID it! Image Unavailable, Please Login
1951 Chrysler K310 concept car. (Another Ghia body as evidenced by the emblem on the fender) http://www.allpar.com/cars/concepts/K310.html
These cars can be confusing. Ghia produced show cars for Chrysler in 1952, 1953, and 1954. They also produced a one-off "Thomas Special" and production cars that all resembled the series of show cars. The image here is, without doubt, from the Paris Salon and I'm pretty sure that this is the 1954 show car.
Thanks, I was wondering if anyone recognized the setting of that shot, I figured it might be a help in IDing the car. I am assuming that these photos are all basically Press Release types of prints? I'll be putting them up on Ebay eventually.
Ok, I can make out some badging on this one, but I still put this one up just to give you some entertainment. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Here's a video I found, and the creator of the video isn't sure what it is. Any ideas? Chris [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsuI78Zqq4E&feature=uploademail[/ame]
