Just was very happy to see him back up there!
hehe... yip for a while in the semi wet conditions it felt like being young again and Schumi would be unstopable. was good to see him battling with Vettel for some time about the fastest lap. that's what I was waiting for for a long time
The guy still has it, he just needs the right car. He was absolutely unstoppable on intermediates though.
Vettel was cruising by then . The only time he came close to Vettel was at the restart, and he left him for dead on the first lap. Just saying . But yes, it was his best drive yet, but I'm afraid just on this race. We'll see.
Vettel is a duck in water in the RB7. There can be no comparison when there is such a large margin of vehicle prowess
He still loves a scrap and it was nice to see him squeeze Hamilton to the outside of the hairpin, which ultimately led him to drive into the wall. His fight with Mark Webber, albeit unsuccessful, was thoroughly enjoyable. I am happy I stayed out from 3 am to 7am(Melbourne time) to watch it to the end. Wouldn't have missed it for the world !! Go Schumi !!
It's a shame that it dried out so much, cause if it hadnt his car was obviously working well, and the gap between the RB, Mclaren, and the Mercedes was very small. It was only when it dried out that the extra grip and down force started to play a part. Having said he was very close to Webber at the end of the last lap though. And down as a result he's level on points with Rosberg, at no point last year was he even close to Rosberg, so the car is obviously working better. I'd love to see him on the top step of the podium soon.
I believe SPEED's Matchet said Mclaren has the best DRS system. Not a huge weapon but still a good one.
No, it's MB which has the best DRS system. MB gains some 6kph average more than others with their DRS.
Yes, it was Mercedes. Hence the post in the MS thread. My mind was thinking Mercedes but Mclaren came to the finger tips. I blame Hammilton.
