Yes it is the chassis 017: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-000bc9FPxE http://www.youtube.com/user/vectorfiles But it had never been with the AUDI museum since AUDI never wanted to publically display the car.
Yes, this very car: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-000bc9FPxE SRV-8 is still with Vector Florida´s former CEO, Randy Welty. Someone here on F-Chat took photos of the car about two years ago. SRV-8: http://randylynnjake.smugmug.com/gallery/2836254#151872425
Awesome, thank you for sharing!! That SRV8 is a sweet looking car, too bad it never saw the light of day. Chris
thanks for the info guys. I knew there had to be a few that knew about Vectors as well as Ferrari's around here. I wanted to get a pic of the cars for myself but it seems he moved them to another one of his dealerships or warehouses.

Thank you so much for sharing! If I am ever in the area, do you think the people at the dealership would let me come in and take pics of the cars if I am honest? Chris
Here is the story with the dealer, these 2 cars are in a showroom of a dealership that merged, all of the cars are at the other store (Jeff's Motorcars), but he is using this showroom for these cars for the time being.
http://www.enquirer.com/editions/2003/02/09/biz_kisor09.html He used to run around town to all the local cruise-in's, he would show with friends, they would bring the Vectors, Lambo, Bentley. Talked a lot about buying the rights to Vector, think this is at was when he was at the top of his scheme! I would see his cars all over town.
thanks, I think thats the first place I seen them but the sign said they moved to Jeff's motorcars. must have been remodeling that showroom as I was checking his other two lots for them.
new pics of Vector W8, chassis 007 scheduled for auction in October: http://www.rmauctions.com/FeatureCars.cfm?SaleCode=LF10&CarID=r133&fc=0# http://www.finecars.cc/en/detail/car/98848/index.html
Oh man, I really wish I could go there. There's lots of other great cars there too, including the Miura SV Jota. BTW, the front fascia of that 300SL Gullwing looks different. Chris
That's not a W8, but rather the VERY rare W9... Sigh - can't rm auctions get an auto enthusiast to do a bit of editing before they post such a thing?
Wow, I am a HUGE Vector fan, but never heard of the W9. What's the difference? I was actually looking at the pictures they have, and the side says "Vector W8 Twin Turbo." Chris
He's joking.... [/sarcasm] missing Whoever buys this car has a legal battle on their hands with Jerry, who already has legal documents to show he owns this car.
Ahh my bad... hard to tell when it's all in text. So this is the chassis # that Megatech gave Lamborghini as payment for the engines of the M12? Chris
This is the car out of Sinsheim. John's car. Sad to see him selling her. She has been on display in the museum for a long time. The only Blue car we built. I wish I could bring her back home.
Man, I just checked out the website for Sinsheim, and I was blown away. They have everything there!! http://sinsheim.technik-museum.de/en/information-your-museum-visit Chris
nope. The car to be auctioned is chassis 007 (1992, dark blue). The Megatech car is 017 (1993, black): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-000bc9FPxE#t=1m25 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-000bc9FPxE#t=7m Vector W8, chassis 017 will be featured in a four page article in the print edition of www.motor-klassik.de available at the news stands in Germany on Sep 15.
