There's one way to solve that next year, Michael. Stuff me in your suitcase and take me along for the ride! I have got to get out there one of these years.

Please enjoy the atmosphere for me and take some pictures!

    warm regards

Ken You really must do it someday and your family would love this part of No CA by the way the warmest it has been in Monterey this week is 62. Yesterday at Concorso I saw a Dino Spider that was so over the top it made mine look like a barn find! M

Chuck, his dad and the family show up from time to time at local car shows and gatherings. I've even seen Kendall up at Hershey. Always friendly and good people. I'd kill to have Charlie give me some lessons on panel beating. Don't know what I woulda done if Competizione hadn't opened up to take the hand-off from GT.

My phone has been crushed with SMS updates from everyone out there.

I heard the T/A guys got sent home from the track due to 4 wrecks??

    Anyways...back to the nostalgia.

I've sat in that Prancing Horse BBLM...one of my childhood dreams!

saw that, too. My guess is that it (plus a little heat applied sparingly) is for re-flatteining the Weber bases that have gotten warped from overtightening over the years.

Did anybody happen to notice the very discreet 375 in the above posted shop shot? Talk about a historical race car. What a brutal device when raced at speed back in the day.

Just another example of the pedigree of cars that Chuck and his crew have the skill and means to work upon.

    regards,

    ken

Ken That 375 is part of a significant European collection, it is even more impressive in person and it just happens to have a great provenance Another car that traveled a long way to get Chuck"s guys on it. M

My pleasure. It's a great racecar. I can't imagine what it would've been like to drive it, especially in anger.

Only ten years later I come to the discussion. Where did everyone decide Chuck Wray's shop is--I want to send him a print of my Bizzarrini painting. DuPont Estate Works, where's that?

OMG, thanks a million for bumping this thread. I lost the pictures I posted here in a hard drive crash, had forgotten about these posts, and now I have them back. That’s awesome.

Gorgeous painting, by the way. Love it!
