Ok, here they are: The cars are in chronological order starting in the back at 1950. Where there is a white spot, I'm missing a car (I do have some as kits, which I still need to build).

The 1960 Cooper-Ferrari is there as well as the 1966 Cooper-Ferrari (green).

The blue car is the 1991 Minardi (a kit I built).

I kit bashed the 1992 Dallara, it ain't pretty, but hey. Still missing the 93 Dallara.

The rest going forward is complete, the 2008 Force India is on its way.

Please note, that in the early years, Ferrari changed the cars around quite a bit, so while the model I'm showing is accurate for one particular race that season, it might have looked different in the following race.

Nope, I think you got it.

I ordered my 1/43 Toro Rosso with Buemi already. It will accompany my 1/43 Ferrari with BADoer. Honestly.

Okay, now for something really obscure. In the 1966 British GP, (Chris?) Lawrence drove a Cooper powered by a modified 250 GTO V12 and finished 11th. It was the only Ferrari-powered car in the race, as the factory cars had been withdrawn due to "wildcat" strikes at the factory.

Andreas, what's that Cooper in your (fantastic) collection?

That's the one. I got a Cooper model and a 250 GTO kit and swapped the engines.

Okay (great job on the model), but Chris Lawrence's car bore the number 24 and did not have the Cooper longitudinal stripes. I have the '66 Automobile Year with a (black & white) photo to confirm it. ( Not to be anal retentive or anything.) :)

    Incredible collection, nonetheless!

    Thank's!

I got the idea at the Galleria in Maranello where they had all their F1 cars in 1/43. I consider customer cars carrying the Ferrari engine as part of the family (after all Enzo said something like "The engine is the Ferrari, the chassis is just something to carry it").

By all means, model building folks like me are anal retentive (I'm that to begin with, models or not, but TMI alert). If you could please post that pic, that'd be great. Otherwise I'll take your word for it and the car goes into the shop for a respray. :)

The thing that really kills me are those pesky Dallara's from the early nineties. I actually saw them in Montreal and they have this insane paint scheme that I'll be never able to replicate. That spot remains wide open for the time being. The other holes are done to me being lazy: I have the right kit, but not yet the time to build them.

The pic is in a book, but I'll see whether I can get a decent copy stand shot and post it. Of course it's a B&W photo, but I'm guessing that the car was BRG in color.

I'll toss this one in the obscure but valid file. The 1956 Indy 500 Farina driven Kurtis 500 Bardahl Special. I include it as it had the possibility of scoring points towards the championship if Nino had managed to qualify. Consider it a fringe player ;)

Thanks. I thought I might review footage from "Grand Prix" (which was of course filmed in '66) to see if I can determine the color scheme. Yes, I know, way too much time on my hands...

Certainly qualifies as the Indy 500 were part of the F1 Championship.

Just received the 2009 Toro Rosso piloted by compatriot Buemi.

So here are my 2009 additions to the collection. I found an old Forti on ebay from which I transplanted the BADoer helmet onto a Massa body. While I enjoyed making fun of BADoer and his horrible "performance" in the F60, it was a very rare and unique moment in the Scuderia's history and therefore he got the honors of representing the year 2009.

Well, in early 1967 my dad took me to watch the Race of Champions (a non-championship F1 race ) at Brands Hatch where the Cooper-Ferrari was running. The car had been put together by a wheeler-dealer named John Pearce who had dreams of getting into F1 properly, and he'd entered two self-bult cars as well, powered by a SOHC V8 called a Martin (quite similar to the '66 Repco but even smaller), but they weren't ready.

Also running at Brands was a converted Lotus F2 car with a Martin V8 engine, which non-started after an engine problem. Then the Lotus was wrecked in a testing crash, and the Pearce transporter caught fire in the paddock at Silverstone a few weeks later, so all the cars were destroyed.

Anyway, a while ago I decided to make models of the Pearce-Martin and Lotus-Martin:
