Hi new to the chat room, but would be keen to get hold of clips as mine are broken. are they avialable? jeff
OK there looks like enough interest in getting black and cream ones. Unfortunately I am travelling for the next month so the project will have to wait until I get home. It will take about 2 to 3 weeks to make them after that. Sit tight and I will let you guys know when they are ready. John
John, Good to see this is still moving forward. I too could use two clips in cream for my C/4. You were missed at Monterey this year. Be well. RHK
Thanks Rick I am in San Francisco fixing some Koni ride levellers for some east coast guys. Will be back in Australia next week so I can start the sun visor clip project. John
I do not know what they look like. I have done Queens, C4s and 365GT4 2+2s. No 400s. I understood they got rid of the Koni ride levellers in the 400i. Anyway I live in Australia so doing them in USA is a lot of trouble for me. Not really interested. John
Dave: Are you that right person to order sun visor clips from? If so, Please send me 2 for my '69 365 2+2 in the light tan color. How much are they?
I am doing them for the C4s, 365GT4s and 400s in cream and black. I can do them in light tan as well but I would need a sample of a broken one to match the colour and the gloss. Can you post me a broken one as a sample? Do all Queens have light tan ones? John
Better if you can post a broken one to me. That way colour and gloss level will be correct. Different monitors show colours differently. If you do not mind a close match then a photo would be OK but a samole would be better. Thanks John
Attached (hopefully ) is a picture of the right side sun visor with a broken clip. I hope it helps. The left side is completely, otherwise I'd send it also. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have previously requested two in Black and I know I have seen at least 3-4 more requests in Black, but it is hard to track on this thread which are repeats and which are new requests. Ken
I am working on it. I have to get a few good ones to use as masters for the molding process. Also I am waiting on sample of black ones and the Queen ones (light tan?) so I can match the colour and gloss correctly. So please be patient and I should have them ready in a monthh or so. John
Two, please, for me on the strongest plastic color. My beige ones seem to be very brittle. Of course age is one factor. Stronger is better. I know that you are going to stress test. Thank you so much in advance.Jacques.
The ones I will use as a master for the mold have been delayed in the post. I hope they are not lost. Anyway I do have a tracking number and I am hoping that they arrive soon so I can start making these things. I still have not had any response from anybody who can post me a broken black one so I can match the colour and surface finish exactly. Also one from a Queen if possible. If no one sends me a sample I will just have to guess on the exact colour and surface finish. John
