Nice! Do you have them in bigger size? Please mail to [email protected] I can not post pics anymore (quota exceeded) but I have posted pics in an other thread with BBLM pics. Only when using imageshack or so.

I'm sorry I can't help with serial # on these cars. There were a number of competition cars there that weekend and I thought it would make a good picture to get three of these in a row. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nr "46" (35525) is now with Guikas of France. http://www.barchetta.cc/All.Ferraris/24h.daytona.bm.01/00day11-32-1.html
I shot this one, nearly two years ago, in the paddocks during the Oldtimer GP 2004 at the Nürburgring. On my other computer in the office i have a bunch of shots from another BB LM, done at the Modena Motorsport Ferrari Track Days last year. Pics will come later; maybe somebody here already knows, which BB LM this was? I've been there on thursday and there was only one BB LM around. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Exactly. At least it looks like the one i saw. Do you know its ID? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
BB512LM cars look and sound great, but they couldn't get out of their own way when raced against the Porsche race cars of the day...
Hello to all, i know i'm a little too late, but these cars interested me so much. tomgt wrote that "31589 have engine 0023",but i know that engine no.23(00023)is the original for the s/n 35527(both currently for sale by Guikas, but installed in the car is currently engine no.00682). Does you ,tomgt, have a build sheet of 31589 ,on there is listed 0023 as engine number or you spotted this car with this eng.no.? thanks in advance ivo
Chassis 31589 also used to be fitted with engine 00105. Here's a photo. COPYRIGHT MARCEL MASSINI Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have BBLM build sheets but not from 31589. I think it was 1981 Le Mans this car raced with engine 023.
are such high engine numbers (like 00682 or 00574)perhaps from 512 BB street engines ,rebuilt to BB LM specifications? And are this factory spec.engines or work done by other specialists? i don't think that the factory builds so many engine at this time... regards ivo
correct, these 'new' engines were made in the US (carobu, motion products) or could be made new by Roelofs Engineering www.roelofs-engineering.nl correct, these 'new' engines were made in the US (carobu, motion products) or could be made new by Roelofs Engineering www.roelofs-engineering.nl

For the one who wants Mechanical Fuel Injection on his Boxer; I have a 12 cyl. lucas metering unit for sale as used on BBLMs. Complete and tested.
Hi Pedro. This a great thread! Thanks for starting it. Over the past years I have been falling more and more in love with the BBLM's. Which is good because I used to hate them and could not understand them LOL. Please make a note that fellow Canadian Lawrence Stroll has 2 BBLM's. (Unless of course he just sold one) Vasco
Vasco, Actually, unless Stroll recently purchased a second BBLM (entirely possible, of course), he only owns 31589 at this time. He previously also owned a BBLM "clone", which was sold and is currently owned by one Fchatter. I'd be curious to know what you didn't like and couldn't understand about BBLMs. Granted, they weren't terribly successful as race cars, but they are 1) powerful, 2) 12-cylinder, and 3) factory-sanctioned/built race cars. They are very drivable and relatively affordable to run. In fact, until the 333SPs, the BBLM was the last 12-cylinder endurance car produced by Ferrari. Oh, and a BBLM was in 2nd place OVERALL at the Daytona 24. See the story at www.a2zracer.com pages 80 and 81. Enjoy, CW
I guess the clone would be the reason I thought Stroll had two BBLM's. Sorry about that. Also the reason why I didnt like BBLM's before is because I didnt know.... I didnt know any better Thanks for the info!
