he is actually pretty cool. i saw him interviewed on top gear and its almost like he sings so that he can buy cool cars. he said he had the murcielago ordered but then thought 'what the hell, better just go straight for the enzo', and dropped his murci order. his videos usually feature a few choice morsels for the exotic hungry. he was the entertainment for jordan's unveiling in 99 i think, so he is pretty connected to the car world, and despite losing his license, is said to drive pretty well by tiff needel (top gear pro journo etc). | ||

Add Jay Kay to the list of "pop stars who are cool and not at all lame" (Currently includes Ribbie Williams too. A further side note, he's famed for his love of cars... plus his propensity for crashing them. I have an old car-mag featuring a UK (where he lives) supercar breaker. The pride of place was for Jay Kay's pink Diablo 30SE - about 2ft shorter than standard... Can't fault his music or taste in cars though :-) | ||

"...the article says he's got the last of the 399 special edition ENZOs..." The original source of this article is "The Sun," a tabloid. Last of the 399? Possible but not likely. Like most of their "articles," they probably figured that it added to the sensationalism of the story and that no one would be able to, or even bother to verify the accuracy of that claim. | ||
