This is pretty nice and people I have asked seemed to like the color but the dealers I talked to say people will say they like them but true buyers of the color are hard to come by. Maybe next time I'll try it. I think this may have been a press car. |

Napolis, I'd like to know the paint code/color of that Maser, it is possibly my new choice for the GT4 color. I just saw a new Chevy truck at the dealer tonight that looked similar in color to your Maserati and will be getting paint code info from them as well. Thanks Erik |

Well I think I have settled on this paint color for the GT4... 1992/1993 GMC Bahama Blue metallic, which is similar to the original blue of my car. This link shows the color but doesn't do it much justice. It is a dazzling bright metallic blue with alot of silver in it. http://www.mindspring.com/~enochson/john.htm What do y'all think? Thanks Erik |

The Crema seats are not a problem. I routinely drive the car while wearing blue jeans and have had no problems staining the leather. The California Azzuro Blue color shows off the car's shape and is a refreshing change from the more numerous red, silver and black examples. It's hard to make this car look bad in ANY color! |

Eric's post below with the link to(33687) has a 512BBi Boxer which looks to be the same or similar shade in which my GT4 will be sprayed hopefully later this week. The GT4 got its 2nd to final primer Friday and I am still seeking a current day paint code for this color which was given on the build sheet by Ferrari. Colore esterno: Azzurro Dino 20-A-349 Salchi None of the dealers I have called are able to provide me with any info on this paint code, it was translated to a "deep sky blue" verbally. It seems to NOT be metallic. Any help on the paint code would be of help for all those BLUE lovers out there! Also- will be seeing what the "Color Eye" lists it as. Thanks Erik

I just love Blue Ferraris and have collected photos of some over a year or so. Here is some Azura (California) Blue Ferraris. OF course lighting is so important in photography, but I am pretty sure all of these cars were very close in color.

Not sure if you had seen this before, but I remembered an earlier thread featuring blue Ferraris, they're not all the California blue, but there are a few nice ones in there. http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/21/33687.html Someone had posted pics of their California blue 360 which had an awsome color scheme which I loved so I had saved this on my comp. I hope they don't mind me posting it here, but it is truly a beauty.

Mainly high temperature insulation blankets for jet engines and turbochargers. If you need something let me know, I will either have it or help you find it. I have been thinking about a blanket for the 360 muffler, it seems to be magnet for peoples hands when you pop the hood.

Gomer if you're going to go with coloured brake calipers, please make it silver with that car...Gold will look like you're driving with medallions strapped to your wheels...... Probably your best bet is to visit the dealer, and have a play with the box that contains the leathers, stitching colors etc. BTW, the aircraft parts you sell, do they include turbine blades? |

More possible interiors
My best guess for the perfect interior: Black: top dash steering wheel door sills and rear shelf tan: daytona seats doors medium tan (Couio?): Daytona Inserts Roll Bars Carpets Fire Ext. with silver stitching throughout. Gold Brakes and Yellow Shields. This will either be a really good idea that no one has ever done or a $200,000 rolling monument to bad taste. Feel free to throw rocks but only if you have a better idea. All blue on Blue is too basic in my opinion.

Maybe do a black iterior but it seems boring with this exterior but maybe it would work with light blue stitching. Seems like a tough combo but I may do it for next one. Any good ideas appreciated, especially if you have a good interior for this exterior. |

I like the combo but what to do with the interior? Navy will make it a lot of blue. Maybe the tan, could the gold brakes work as well?

FOD had an F50 painted that color a few months ago. It seems the original owner had it resprayed right after he got it because Ferrari wouldn't paint it that way from the factory. |

Tako's is best with the navy interior... In my humble opinion, of course... Do a search for Tako, then check out his profile- suhWEET...! There was also a recent thread where he posted different pictures of it, giving a better view of the interior and all... Awesome color scheme- i can't think of a better one, actually (except for black on black)... |
