Looking to tint the windows of a Nero 2010. I don’t want it too dark and have seen several that look classy with a lighter tint. Any thoughts, actual percentages of light transmission, and certainly pictures are much appreciated!

I like 35%. Tinted but not dark. 20% looks good but it is dark.

Beautiful car. I saw those pics earlier this week. Thank you. It’s 27% in SC. I guess I’ll shoot for 35% since the car is black as to not be overwhelmingly all one color.

I think it'll look great unless you want the total blackout gangster look! ;)

Take a nice side before & after pic, it'll be useful to the community.

I have a Pozzi blue and went with the legal tint. BEING a dark color, I went with the lighter tint to give the car a little contrast when you look at it.

I had a black Maserati GT and had 35%. It was exactly what I wanted. Looked dark enough outside, and wasn't too dark from inside. Unfortunately, in 2017 NY added tint measurement to the yearly emissions inspections to cut down on tint. Absolutely no tint is allowed (other than rear windows for sedans, suv's etc.)

I went with a LLUMAR Pinnacle Series 20% tint that blocks out 80% of the heat. It's a more expensive film that's normally reserved for use on the windshield to retain a clear view for the driver. I didn't want a gangsta-look to my Cali30. Here's a photo of my car with the tint. Sitting in bright sun is quite comfortable and it works well even with the roof up because my arms still get some protection and don't burn. You also still get UV protection.

...and here's the same car 3 years ago, without any window film. There's very little additional tint but the difference in heat and UV protection is simply amazing.

Beautiful car. Thank you for the pics. I’m setting up the tint, radio replacement (Pioneer AVIC 8100NEX) and radar (K40) all this week. I’ll ask about that film.

Thanks. I guess I lucked out as I just got the lightest, most effective tint my installer could offer me. ;)

I did 3M CS35 tint on mine. Light enough for good visibility, dark enough for privacy, and black color looks nice.

Car originally came with CS20 and had it removed.

    I prefer 35%-40%.

Top of the line films are 3M Crystalline, Spectra Photosync, and FormulaOne Stratos. Get a 70%+ film on the windhshield too. You'll feel a huge difference in heat if you live in a hotter climate.
