Geez, give the guy a break! I understand skepticism, but short of bringing the car to your house I don't know what else he could do to prove it's legitimate!

Lets face it, most of us spend ten times this amount on our cars for basic servicing! It's a great cause, tax deductible, you're helping save a life and you can feel good about yourself for helping (and no, I have no affiliation with them!)

Anyhow, I bought my ticket and if I win I'll also adopt a cat and a dog to keep me company on the drive home :)

    Good luck to all!

I believe the tickets started at 1000 instead of 1.

You are correct! They did start at 1000.
So, as of May 10th, 2786 Tickets had been sold.
A few recent events have enabled them to sell a lot
more Tickets. Anyone interested should buy them
by this Friday, (May 28th), to be on the safe side.

    Hi guys!

I think that by now we are up to about 2000-2200 tickets sold, and I really do believe that a lot of that came from people on this site! Everybody has been truly wonderful!!! We also attended a benefit on Friday that was held for Adopt A Stray and we took the car there - I actually got to ride in it!!! That is not a car, it is a work of art! We sold some there too, so that brought it up. The drawing is next week, so if anybody is still interested in buying a ticket you only have a little time left. And thanks to everyone who bought one, very, very much :)

Well, you can choose between the Ferrari or $200,000 cash - and then you can buy whatever you want with that :)

It took 2-3 weeks to get my ticket so it should be arriving soon.

To put it at the top of the thread list.

As a pet lover and fellow Animal rescuer I feel the urge you have to get more funding. Your thoughts on how are commendable.
More so however it is commendable that you do the work related to animal wellfare.

As president of a much smaller outfit in Florida, Friends of Surfside Cats, Inc. also a 503(c) non profit we know how hard it is to raise the money to spay and neuter. Just yesterday I went to the vet with 3 cats to be fixed and actually ended up helping the Doc to lower our cost.

We have been doing it for the past 3 years and have fixed over 500 cats to date and adopted more than 250.

Keep on going. Try to understand the questions and skeptisism you are running into. We had a scammer here before and he has taken people for a ride. He BTW ended up in jail as far as I know. Then is being deported when he served his sentence. And best of all it was F-Chatters that got him there.

Keep up the work. Feel free to stop by our website to see what we are doing. As I said much smaller scale. Our big event is Catoberfest.

I adopted a dog a week ago from a rescue shelter. She grew up on the streets of the south bronx. She now has a great life down in greenwich village. She's such a happy dog, and full of love. I urge all those who are thinking of getting a dog to get one from a shelter. DON'T buy one from a puppy mill, or special breeder.
    Keep up the great work!

    Joumana,
I'm buying one because you take a lickin and keep on tickin. The people on this board question everything. That is why I am now buying a ticket. If you get a unanimous decision by this board that it's not a scam you've got my money. See, hard work does pay off.

My company donates money to the local Humane Society for every home purchased by someone who mentions the program.

    Keep up the good fight...
