    Owner's of the original series of Ferrari's copied as a continuation, depending on the car but especially if it were very rare, I believe would be up in arms over the watering down of that particular model. If Ferrari were to do some sort of continuation series, my suggestion would be to not call it a continuation, but rather make the new car a 'vintage' series or the like which is not particularly modeled after any one vintage V12 car, rather it is an entirely new model but in the style of the vintage models with period correct running gear. Call it a 285 or 260Gt or something.
