interesting, thanks. there was an old Car and Driver (I think) article with Carl in which he talked about buying the F40 as an investment and never drove it, so the excellent condition and low mileage is consistent with that.
Yes, he did. At one point not long ago, this F40 still had its 1990 Goodyear Eagle GS-A 235/45ZR17 front (dated August 1989) and 335/35ZR17 rear (May 1990) tires on! Image Unavailable, Please Login

I've touched many nice F40s, and this one has to be right up there. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Any follow-up on this car? Rebuilt? I searched but couldn't find anything. Ferrari F40 Wrecked by a Minivan in Colorado (2013)
Joe - what colors did F40's (more specifically, USA F40's) brake calipers come in from the factory? Were they all black, or were some silver?
I'm looking for a Tipo USA F40 on-the-ground in the USA for a collector who is a serious buyer at current market. For this particular gentleman, the car has to be sub-7,500 miles, completely unmodified (Tubi is fine so long as the original unit comes with the car), dealer-maintained, no stories/paintwork, and in good condition. Please contact me offline at [email protected]
Does anyone know of a high miles US (or Euro) F40 for sale? I'm looking for something to really drive and track so I don't want/need a collectible garage queen. PM if you've got any leads!
I have a beautiful Tipo USA (1 of 211) F40 available here in the USA, 15,000 miles, priced accordingly, current owner the last 20 years, Ferrari serviced up-to-date (2017), please contact me offline for details at [email protected] Image Unavailable, Please Login

88521, owned for many years by World Heavyweight Boxing Champion 'Big George' Foreman. The Champ kindly signed the owner's manual for my client. FWIW Big George kept this F40 in impeccable condition Image Unavailable, Please Login
He is 6' 3" and I'd say that's the upper limit for the USA F40 with the standard Tipo USA two-piece seats. How did he get in it? Very carefully, because after years of ownership and a few drives (it was in fact Texas road-registered ZDG 44V) that interior was pristine, no rips @ the bolsters of the red Nomex caused by clumsy entry & egress, clearly someone who appreciates a special car and knows how to take care of it. BTW, what's the source of your information that the USA F40 had three (3) seat sizes? Just curious.
My client hasn't discussed selling it, but anything is possible. From a boxing enthusiast's point of view, this F40 was owned by the World Champion for 14 years, titled & registered to him in the name "George Foreman" (copies on file), and it's worth noting that Big George is a true car enthusiast, unlike other celebrities. When George sold us the F40, it was a very nice example, all credit to him, but we brought it to Ferrari Newport Beach and made it utterly perfect. It exists with barely 1,800 miles in the company of a 288 GTO, Enzo, FXX, Ferrari F1 car etc, well cared for.
