If I wanted to be really particular how can i get the other numbers on the key engraved in the same font to match my original key?
I'm confused...why does your tutorial on key ID, which is great, not match the pictures of your keys, at least for a "4" key, as posted in the first post of the thread? I have a "4" based in your tutorial, but the "4" in the very first post is different...or am I missing something?
I'm worried about Steven, as since he announced the keys were ready he's completely disappeared! Left us all hanging... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
very unusual, indeed Steven`s last log in on f-chat was on march 4th hopefully everything is o.k. Steven, when you read this, shoot a quick message !
Has anyone heard from Steven by PM as yet? He seems to have disappeared which is odd after all his hard work getting these keys done. Hope he's ok?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Heard Steven at the phone: He is ok but very busy. He told me he even hasn't time to come here on Fchat He will come back here as soon as possible Ciao
Because the "4" in the first post was wrong I believe. I'll post a bit later the correct ones when I get myself together.
Has anyone recieved their keys? I noticed this thread ended abruptly without any further information. I'm interested in contacting the OP about purchasing a couple of his SAFE/Torino keys. Does anyone know how to reach him? I tried contacting him through here but have not received an answer.
No one got any of these key blanks yet except myself... Had decided to temporarily cease coming back to FChat to settle RL issues first and that's why it was stopped abruptly, my apologies here. I'm picking things up now, just give me a brief moment.
Here is a pic of the single original SAFE key from my '79, I note that the key number is stamped on the SAFE side, whereas your have the first number on the Torino side. Did they swap the sides as some point maybe? Also, if my number starts with a 2 , does that mean it's definitely a 2 profile? Thanks Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
To your first question: They appear to be random as I have originals with the number stamped on both sides, but I can't be 100% correct. Also, the originals seem to have slight variation as well, possibly different production batches. Second question: Yeah I would believe so.
Glad you're back. I hope all is well with you. I'll send you another PM regarding purchasing a key. Thank you.
Just checking in to see if the OP is still planning on producing these replacement keys. If so, can you give us an approximate timeline? Hope you're well.
The keys have been produced some months ago. I just need to have time to do the transactions. Hopefully next week.
