I'm Winnipeg bound I'm taking my Lambo to Winnipeg in mid July to visit some friends, was wondering when you guys do cars and coffee ? I would be there for a Fri and Sat, I assume you do Sat, correct? Would be nice to meet the neighbors and borrow a cup of brown sugar
Yes, Saturday at 10AM Starbuck's on Taylor, near Cambridge. Huge parking lot, so it's all good, love to see you there! Dennis Image Unavailable, Please Login
Saw a red 355 in Winnipeg today. It was on a flatbed and had been rear-ended by a small truck. No plate as it was covered by a diaper, probably to catch the transmission fluid. There was an obvious dent above the rear bumper but not too bad. Bad luck for the owner, I guess he had brakes and the truck did not have brakes.
I did not catch the model as it was high up on a flatbed and I am short so by the time it registered as a 355 on a flatbed the 3 vehicles were past me. I saw this on Portage Ave right beside the MTS Centre heading East at maybe 3pm on the day I posted. It was a windy cold day I think but still nice enough for a drive. The dent in the rear above the plate wasn't so obvious at first but then I saw the damaged red truck being towed backwards by the flatbed as well. The truck bumper was fairly bent. It was not a full sized truck though so that should help lessen the damage but they both needed to be towed.
Spotted a red 348ts on Broadway and st Mary's during lunch headed towards st.vital. Was it anyone from fchat? I waved and gave him the thumbs up.
Too bad about Doug's 355, never saw a 348 here though. Had a McLaren Mercedes SLR out Saturday at out Cars and Coffee, wow! Image Unavailable, Please Login

Hey there, are there any Ferrari 308 get togethers in winnipeg during the winter? My 308 GTS QV will be arriving in a week and a half. I'm pretty excited.
Is that the 83 you checked out in Alberta? Do you want me to drive it out to Winnipeg for you? I think Winnipeg will be like the other prairie cities, the exotic cars mostly get put away for the winter, although the owners may still meet up.
Cars should start coming out over the next 2-4 weeks. PM me your cel phone number. I will call you when we get together. There were a few new additions to the RG Exotics family over the winter. Will be a great year.
Yes, I have heard about it.. Congratz to Roberto Cant wait to see the new addition. Also, the 458 Italia
Hello, I'm not in Canada but actually Regina is the closest small big city to me since I live in Williston, ND. So, I've been wondering.. is there a solid Ferrari service in or near Regina? I could also use a Porsche shop if there was one in Regina. I'd appreciate if you have a recomendation. Thanks
Greetings and welcome. We used to travel to Williston for band days when I was younger. I haven't been there in a long time but I remember it was a nice city with really friendly people. You mentioned Porsche and Ferrari, which models do you have? The Regina guys have 911s 911 targa, GT3 and 996Turbo On the F side there 308QV,328QV, Testarossa, 348,355,430,575 and 458. If you are looking for authorized Porsche service, there is a dealer in Saskatoon (about 2 1/2 hours North of Regina) There are also a couple of privateers in Regina that will do work on Porsche. With respect to Ferrari service, there is a Dealer in Calgary, Alberta. There are also some privateers such as ZR Auto in Calgary. With the US dollar being high, it may be worth it to have service done up here. We have a local group of enthusiasts that get together for coffee and drives in the summer. I know it's a bit of a trip, but if you are interested, in getting together let us know. We have one member from Estevan (fairly close to the border) and do make trips there once or twice a year.
Williston is the twilight zone. The Porsche is a 928 and the Ferrari is a 355. ALso, have a moded M Roadster in the stable. As long as it's reputable shop I don't have to have the authorized dealer service my cars. I am kind of cautious on some of the indy shops that I don't know which is why asked for a recommendation. Back in ATL I had a indy shop service my cars and were very happy. I would apreciate recomendations. Like I said before Regina is closer to me than any other city in the US that might have BMW, Porshce, and Ferrari service. I actually, drive over to Regina almost every month. I work for a company based out of Regina. I rarely ever drive the anything other the SUV coming up there but I wouldn't mind once a while come up and meet some local car folks. Very nice collection. We usually get together on Thursday evenings for coffee with cars if the weather is permitting. Drives are a little more random, but we normally get together on a Saturday or Sunday. I will PM you my cel #. You can give me a call next time you are in town. We have a pretty diverse group of cars and owners. They are all great people and get along really well. (there is a lot of good natured ribbing between the Lambo and Ferrari guys). Regarding shops that you can trust, I understand your concerns. Depending on the kind of service required, there are a couple of potential shops that may be able to help you out. If it's a major item, I would probably look at Calgary or somewhere south of the border.
