Anyone know why UK which is Ferrari 3rd biggest market is 5/6 months behind Australian RHD, good luck to the Aussies just baffling though, business wise.

We appear to be getting a smaller share of the limited edition cars now as well !

No it is because demand for current cars is still so high, they can afford a slow down on new models. That from the manufacturer when I asked same question.

I was warned to keep the specs relatively simple if I wanted to receive an 'early' delivery but this spec is close to what I wanted as I did not want to go overboard on the CF etc - will save that for the 812 VS and tailor made. Interestingly I requested to delete the centre red stripe on the top of the dashboard and replace with Nero stripe but factory came back and said this was not an option. Could just be that it was not an option for me given it is an early delivery car.

Great with the cuoio inside but still black for the upper dash and steering wheel is perfect. Very nice specification!

As I've just posted on the 812 Deposit thread I was talking with one of the larger UK dealers this morning.
1.Their rhd dealer demos have been delayed. They don't know when they will get them."Not much point in demonstrating a car that is sold out though."
2.More worryingly they had NO idea when the first UK customer cars might arrive.I suggested Q2 2018 which was met with a drug of the shoulders and "your guess is as good as ours".

I believe it may have something to do with our exchange rate as I know from the top that it was giving the factory 'difficulties'. Maybe they are delaying in the hope it might recover?

That was my theory so if that is the case it is Brexit/Interest Rate driven.

They just announced a UK 4% increase on 812 (7% on 488).. That’s brexit, as I understand that in Germany it’s 3% on all models!
Applies immediately to all cars except those already in build,

    THanks for sharing your spec.
Also thanks for including the codes.
    Are you getting Homelink?

If it is not included as standard equipment, then one must specifiy Inner Electrochromic window with Homelink.

So we have been looking at images of 812 since Feb this year.
I was looking at some regular F12 images today and for the first time thought "that looks old".Amazing how our brains work.
I actually liked 812 design quite quickly after images appeared (I'm even OK with the rear) but having seen images of a lot of the first production cars am now liking it more and more.

You can get rid of the red stripe , it should not be there once you choose Cuoio , it will make inserts in dash, footwell and stripe the same colour. Stick with it your dealer should sort that unless you wanted the red everywhere else.

Interior/Exterior electrochromatic mirrors and Active cruise control with pit speed limiter are standard equipment - Homelink is not universally adopted here so not offered as an option from what I recall

Yes I did want the red alcantara inserts but not the red dashtop stripe.

    Thanks for the info

I’m a bit disappointed to see cruise control.
I wonder if this can be deleted from the car. I’d actually pay a fee to get rid of it.

F12 already has cruise control. It is standard and even Ferrari as a small manufacturer needs to fulfill laws and rules (lowering emissions and lowering noise). At least for Europe and I don't think they will leave it off for other countries/versions. Same story with the stop/start system.

+1 and here in the U.K., with average speed cameras monitoring you over some quite long distances, maybe 15 miles, it is a relief to just engage at 50, 70 or whatever Government has mandated in its brilliance.
