Photos of the last 7 models. Only 2 more to go unless they extend it to 40 cars. The 2000 Spider Veloce 1971 is already out in Italy as of September 10th.(I wonder what the next 1/24th Quattroruote collection will be??

I am still waiting for my Scale Designs 1/24th scale Alfa 1900 PAN AM and Mille Miglia mixed car sheet to come back from Cartograf.

Here is a follow up to the 1/24th Alfa Collection. Looks like we will get more 1/24th cars in the future from Quattroruote. They never like to give to much information so the type of 1/24th scale collection is not said for sure. It does look like they had planned 40 Alfa's but scaled it back due to the economy. My guess is we will see the 1/24th scale Alfa's from that last 10 in another collection. At the rate things are going 1/24th could become the NEW 1/18th due to the cost of manufacturing and materials.

Decided to bring back this thread as so much is happening with Hachette and 1/24th scale diecasts. As 1/18th gets more expensive several makers have really picked up their 1/24th scale releases. Here is a good link to keep up to date. Some interesting high quality models are being released with French, Italian, Russian, Japanese, Brazilian, classic ect.model programs.

The SM and Matra look great as does the XKE 2+2. I remember when I was a kid someone traded in a Matra at the local Chicago area Porsche dealer. I will never forget the 3 front seats just like the 365P Ferrari show car. They were never legally brought into the USA.

Best place to find them is ebay Europe.

I have to say Hachette and some of the other 1/24th scale diecast model producers are starting to learn accuracy is more important than opening features. The European 1/24th scale series by Hachette all have no opening features but are as good as even Tamiya in accuracy. These are worth a look at, trust me. Even Hot Wheels is getting into 1/24th again, with their Ferrari 458 model having no opening features ruining accuracy.

Here is the European classic Hachette model list and photos of the latest up to #33. Still several unannounced, so it could be interesting.

So the F60 is made by Bburago?
Is this the same product like sold in the "Le grandi Ferrari"-series by Centauria?

The complete "La Grandi Ferrari"-collection is beeing produced by Burago, but only a few were released under Burago label for sale at regular stores. Not bad quality for die casts, I fear most of them will disappear from the market when the kiosk sale in Italy has expired (also the F60). F12 Tdf is announced for regular release from Burago soon.

I think if we wait long enough they will all be sold as Burago models, just like Hachette models seem to all get released as White Box. The F12 Tdf is pretty good, maybe better than the F60. I already have the Burago branded and boxed Ferrari F12 Tdf that I bought on ebay from China.

    Tommy,

I have the Jaguar XKE and while it is listed as 1962 it really is a Series II 4.2L 2+2 and I do like it.

I see BBurago has now released the 1/24th Le Grandi Ferrari 166MM Barchetta and 250 Tour De France under their own BBurago brand.

Those two Ferrari are not the best quality, the TDF being the better of the two. To bad they could not be more like Hachette!! Here is another 1/24th Hachette series, Auto leggendarie Russia!! I always wanted a fine 1/24th scale model of a Gaz Chaika M13 :)

Not a diecast, but I found this really nice 1/24th scale RC Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio from CMJ China super cheap... Very accurate body and wheels, but no interior...Combine the also cheap Burago Giulia interior and you have a great model. Who needs Tamiya or Fujimi to make a plastic model!
