If you like car/racing history and engineering but don;t really care for the brand [i like the 911 Turbo S, just saying] then a visit here would still be great http://jalopnik.com/going-inside-porsches-secret-vault-left-me-on-the-edge-1798658991

It'd still be boring, though. A bloke at work picked up the first GT3 last week. That is a Porsche that I must admit sounds fantastic and looks pretty good, too. Probably the pick of all of them, IMO.
Me either, they should have kept working on the 928, the basics where in place, maybe one day it may well return. I like [not love] Porsche's they make a very good product at a fair price. Shout out for Turbo S
This bloke has made a pretty bold statement,I reckon Wes's would give him a run for his money. https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Porsche-944-1988/SSE-AD-4993547/?Cr=552
FFS I know that,in fact I was waiting for some analist to come forward with the bloody obvious....come in spinner. Wes's is the nicest 944 of any type I've seen.

Had my other car in at PCM today and they had not one, but two 918's in the service centre. Both apparently imported for private buyers by Duttons. One is silver which was mostly covered up, but the other was an acid green which looked awesome! It was in for campaign review prior to delivery and apparently they send a tech from Germany especially for the car. My service advisor was happy to let me have a good close up look at it, although I was asked not to take photos . With the rear guards and engine cover removed I could see the amazing engineering in the thing, the full carbon tub was very cool! Apparently it's very highly specced with full carbon interior, roof, windscreen frame and Weissach package. Not something you see every day, let alone two!
I know most discussions are on911... anyone can give an insight into the Macan? Which version is the one to get?
