Way too cheap.
Just aquired s/n 10408. She needs some work but everything works (except for the radio) Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

NO AFFILIATION Here's a US Spec 1975 308 GT4 (#9974), silver over read with 92,235 which still retains it's "Dino" badging. Asking $115,000 and for that price I'd pony up for one of Al/Strictly Ferrari's Euros. Used 1975 Ferrari 308 GT4 for Sale in Marina Del Rey CA 90292 Chequered Flag International It says "$85k Fresh restoration" but from there's a few items form the pictures that seem off to me especially with the steep asking price: 1. Could be the angle but the serial number plate on the steering column is not visible so this maybe a repo but seems seems really strange to me? 2. The leather in the door inserts is smooth vs. the original vertical/padded correct style. 3. Trunk carpet isn't original/correct to the car. 4. Grey interior carpets aren't original/correct color for the car. 5. Looks to still have the early style US bumpers but the rear is the rear doesn't seem to be the same style as the front and missing the side bumper caps. 6. Looks to me that the taillights are look have the Euro-style yellow turn signals lenses vs. the all red US-style lenses but I could be wrong here. 7. Wiper blades are not original Carello. 8. I can't make out the "Dino" script on the front air/heating vents but that could be from the focus of the pic. 9. No radio and the space where it goes is covered with leather. 10. The hubcaps are painted black but they're there. 11. Distributor cap looks grey vs. black so perhaps not correct for the car? 12. For $115k, you'd think you'd get the original facchini (spelling?) clips on the air intake hoses I'm sure there's more but those are the items that stand out.
Is that correct? My understanding was that the cloth inserts were smooth and the leather inserts padded with the vertical stitching? Cheers Jon
Yes I'm referring to the door panels, so is it the case that Series one cars had plain door inserts and series two cars had the stitched inserts?
I'm not sure about the cloth, but the early leather was smooth door insert. and the later had the rolls
Mike - Looking at the door panels on my '75, you're correct...mine are smooth. Guess I've seen one to many pics of the stitched
Wow! The red leather looks amazing! The fine grain texture on the seat cushions seems spot on. Nice tight rear seats. Anyone venture to guess who did the interior restoration?
'78 Euro near me in north county San Diego. Looks like it needs some stuff to be correct but seems like a nice driver. http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/cto/6184905113.html
I like the beautiful euro bumpers but why the ugly us side markers- would these also be the euro marker as well? All a bit confusing
The 308 market seems to have softened noticeably. I'm seeing cars that were around $100K now back down in the upper $70K range.
