Have anyone run into a heating issue with the cabin vents? No heat from the vents with the air conditioner off.
However, if you enable the air and turn to max heat, you'll feel the heat coming from the vent.
    Thanks in advance.

The button you refer to is both for the A/C and heat functions. It shouldn't work for cool or hot air unless you have it turned on.

Best of luck. Sounds like it works fine to me.

    mmm...
    per owner's manual:
    Pressed (stop)
The air conditioner is off. However, heating is still enabled and will turn on according to the temperature set.

Unfortunately, the OM is incorrect on this issue. Heating is not enabled if the STOP button is not released.
As PJ Houser said in the above post, the system works for heat/cold as a climate control system and requires the AC button be released from the STOP position.
Once 'released' select your temp/fan speed on AUTO or MANUAL and you will get heat. You don't release that STOP button and you will freeze, ask me and others how we know this.

    Just saying!

Thanks everyone. I'm newbie to the Ferrari, picked up the F430 over the summer. Last week was the first time turning on the heater.

You might find you select heat but u r freezing, it can get a fault where every switch is in correct place but no heat- turn ignition off then turn on but dont start engine, wait 30 secs or so and start up- at times if you start up too quick this happens.

One more important note on the idiotic OFF/Stop button (only Italian engineers can make a OFF/Stop switch to turn in "ON" position to turn something OFF )

Anyway the tip: never, ever leave your key in the ignition (motor turned off) with the heating/AC in ON status, it will eat your battery within 15 min (even when the dashboard lights are off).
You will need to recharge the battery (do not jump start! It can blow up your ECU!). Those italian engineers....got to love them
