Profil 24 has announced they will do a 1/12th Ferrari 250LM.
Now that is one I've been waiting for, and would buy. I had also suggested making a 1:12th 250 LM to MFH close to 2 years ago, but who knows with them.....
Image Unavailable, Please Login Andy Martin (Aardvark Models) has released a transkit of the Duesenberg Rollston Torpedo Convertible Victoria. The kit contains a body, fenders, top, unsupercharged hood and engine parts, windshield and seats. It is superbly mastered and cast.
Nice Duesenberg..... Here are more photos of the Ferrari F187/88's in 1/12th scale. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Will it be full detail, or curbside? I have one of the old Climax 1/24 kits, so it will be interesting to see this come to fruition. TIA
I think it will be curbside like his other 1/12th kits. This is an early photo so it is hard to tell what the final shape will look like.
Next Hiro 1/12th scale car.... Some think it is a Mazda 787 Lemans 1991. They used the same gearbox slightly modified as the P962. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow. I've not spoken to Andy in over 30 years! I have one of his Boxer models with the hinged rear end. He was always hard to reach - you'd call his place and never know who was going to answer the 'phone!
The 1/24th SMP24 Mangusta full detail resin kit is now available. Very expensive like a Hiro 1/24th full detail kit at around $250.00 US but also very accurate.
Andy is a good guy, and very talented builder. He used to work for me, and we produced many projects together.
More SMP24 1/24th scale models...Mangusta kits ready to ship and the Alfa Montreal body master. I think the Montreal is not a good idea as the diecast White Box Quattroroute 1/24th scale model is very accurate. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not really my cup of tea. That is the year they ballasted the Jaguar XJR12's to death allowing this car to win. The 1/12th Mazda 787B Lemans 1991. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Image Unavailable, Please Login Yes they did. 4 rotor wankel motors do sound great. For the Porsche collector who wants them all, Revell Porsche Junior 108 Product number #07820 in 1/24th scale. Maybe Ferrari can do tractors also just like Porsche along with SUV's
SMP24 Detomaso Mangusta is very nice in person. Always wanted an accurate kit of this car in 1/24th scale and now we have one, much better than any I have seen in other scales. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hiro CGM will do several 1/24th scale kits including the 2017 Lemans Ferrari 488 and Ford GT LM versions. These two kits are almost the same as the 1/12th kits shrunk down to 1/24th scale. The license for 1/24th scale might be a problem, thus the under table marketing of the kits. CGM also makes other 1/24th kits of mainly Japanese cars and 1/12th bikes. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I have 1:18 models of my 550 and 246 by Burago and Anson respectively, but they are low-cost, low-quality and I would like something better, though not ultra-expensive (maybe around £2-300). I recently bought a 1:18 of my E-type by Auto Art (see here / below), which more like what I am after. Unfortunately they don't do Ferraris. Any suggestions? Image Unavailable, Please Login
