    Stood chatting over the 250 GTE for quite a while remembering the exquisite sound of JH's car on the 2011 Lowe Rally. I understand the carb runs are going to be resurrected soon - yeah!

    That little red Kasey Motorette was the star of the show (ex Ferrari) for me... I chatted with the owner who took off the seat and covers to show me the engine - 2 cylinder longitudinal boxer of around 650cc (IIRC), water cooled with a big brass expansion tank sitting behind the seat. Engine, chassis and body all designed by the inventor. Unfortunately the venture failed when the first batch of engines failed due to sand from the castings not being cleaned properly caused virtually all of the engines to fail... Such a unique car should hopefully fetch more than the estimate of $30k or so.
    The auction cars weren't eligible for People's Choice award so I voted for 195EL :)
