Motorclassica is on again this weekend and there is a celebration for 70 years of Ferrari. Yes I am making the annual trip south for the show, Any one else going this year? https://motorclassica.com.au/
For those staying in Sydney, it's World Time Attack at SMSP with some amazing cars from around the world. Plus, I'm doing demo laps in the Indy car at lunchtime https://www.facebook.com/WorldTimeAttack/videos/1735731593106006/
Yes, will be there Saturday. It's been a bit disappointing the number of classics here for the Rally - 3 cars from the sixties (330gt, 330 series 2, 365 Gtc...) pulls it up. A few Dinos, Testas, 512, Boxer, maybe 10 3x8 versions ( 1 glass, 1 steel carbs, others all injected), couple 355 and the other 80 or so all modern. Hoping a few more will turn up for MC. Maybe we could appoint a time and place for Fchatters to convene for a vino?
To help others not familiar with the event the Ferrari club is listed for Saturday at the Club Sandwich. I would like to suggest 11? only because Iam busy with a clip board until then.
Very nice to see all the Ferrari supercars in one place. Glad I had the idea to get in early though as I had Holly in tow. But she appeared to enjoy it.
Thanx for the close ups of the 250 GTE. The 250 PF is the Grigio one,on the GTE's RHS. Just in case you were taking pics for Greg.
The 250PF was a very unloved car for a long time. I had the opportunity to buy one for about $80k in 2000, oh well
As I'm now a kept man, it's best I don't question it and just maintain the status quo. Years ago we would have just seen these sort of cars at Como Park.
