Good to be back on Ferrari Chat. I just reviewed the Marcel Massini bio, and he is all that everyone says. I have known and worked with Marcel for somewhere around 25 years and he never ceases to amaze me with his Ferrari knowledge. A visit to his home is more impressive than the factory file archieves -- well, almost! Regards, Alan
Carbon: No. It's been sitting in my garage for 2 years. I bought it 4 April 2007 in Stockholm, Sweden. Marcel Massini
Getting ripped into by Marcel Massini is like getting dumped on by Don Rickles. You just can't get angry at the fella. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=136071814&postcount=927 http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=136086298&postcount=949 http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showpost.php?p=136088255&postcount=952
Need to give credit to one person I've met that accepts Marcel's depressing job, hopefully supports him. Mrs. Marcel Massini. See you in two weeks. Plan to go to one more Cavallino, hopefully one more Amelia, just in case that carbon fiber vest/matching jock strap I bought to live in Mexico fails me.
Very sorry, Bryan, it was the 31st May 2006, not in August (I was in California then). ATB Marcel Massini
as usual, you are correct; I guess the viet-nam jungle heat and humidity of that day went to my head!
In our correspondences over the years, it was instantly evident and later reinforced every time that Marcel is an unparalleled expert and a gentleman. I was fortunate to meet him in person in the paddock at Laguna Seca this past August, and he was as generous with his time as ever. Marcel is the genuine article. Marcel, you are a great steward of our beloved marque. Cheers! William
I have nothing to add that my esteemed fellow Ferraristi haven't already said, except that it was an honour to have had dinner with you Marcel last year and many, many, thanks for supplying the information you had on my Ferraris. The history, I find, is a large part of my enjoyment of the cars, and naturally it is a large factor in keeping the cars alive and sought-after. Keep up your amazing fact-finding work! Onno
Marcel, I've just discovered this thread ... I'm surprised, and a little bit proud to see one of my pics here! As usual, it was nice meeting you, at the Villa d'Este, as at Geneva, Maranello or Palm Beach...
Humm, after checking, I'm not entirely sure that this picture is mine...But this one, yes ! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Would you happen to know what the chassis number of the 330GTC used in the movie Grand Prix and what happened to the car? Thanks so much, Guiseppif1
While myself and Marcel have had heated conversations before, the amount of information he posesses and the acuracy that he presents it with is unheard of. A true walking encyclopedia on Ferrari
Incredible knowledge base for all things Ferrari, an invaluable resource....and just a true gentleman. Thanks for all of your advice Marcel, it is greatly appreciated

Recently, I met an owner of a vintage Ferrari, and when I mentioned Marcel, he said, "Who?" Needless to say, I was a bit taken aback. This article should be required reading during the FerrariChat registration process.
