From what i've read, if its one of those drives where you are in a small group travelling with someone from the company the insurance is included in the nominal price paid. Its only when you want to hire the car yourself then you stump up a large deposit and potential to loose that.
Orange Aventador just drove through Toorak Village. Hard not to look and listen. Queensland plates. Very yummy.

The terms & conditions on their webpage say 'drivers' have to be 30+, sign a contract (not linked) and $3000 deposit refundable upon return of the car (does it count if comes back on a flattop? ). Devil would be in the contract detail. The news report sounds a bit like the guy made a small mistake (ran up a kerb) then panicked and hit throttle instead of brake... bit sad really that what should have been a great day turned into a disaster...

Glimpsed an Adventador city bound on the Princes Hwy in Carnegie this evening. T'was waiting for the lights in Koornang Rd & well back; could hear the growl but could not see much in the heavy Friday evening sea of shyte. But clearly saw the silhouette & those unmistakeable taillights. Looked as black as night. Salute' M
