    I got an email to register for Ferrari event oct 7 and 8 in manhattan to celebrate 70th anniversary. Was very vague on details but I signed up. Anyone here know what its about? Who else attending?

    I got it too, but looks like some contest where you go around and post pics of different Ferrari's to win stuff.

    Just re read the email and it says join ferrari at their nyc event celebrating 70 yrs. then post your experience on social media to win prizes. Seems they are hosting something somewhere in manhattan 1st weekend of October. just cant figure out what it is

    It's a champagne reception on Rockefeller Plaza that is followed by the 70th Anniversary celebration at The Top of the Rock benefiting Save the Children - 10/8/17 ... 6-10 pm

    So what would be a good estimate on Michael Schumachers championship/race winning Ferrari F1? Sotheby's says $4 mil+. I wouldn't be surprised if it goes for $10 or more.
    No price would surprise me. You get 2 bazillionaires that just gotta have this prize and the sky is the limit. Consider a painting sold for a ridiculous $110 mil. Can't even drive it. ;)
    Very interesting it is being sold at contemporary art auction and not automobile auction. Really doesn't matter for this unique item.

    75th? Every 5 yrs seems ridiculous, but I thought celebrating 70th (and not waiting for 75th) strange. Just can't stop (or slow) marketing machine.
