And this "dealer" frequently has some very high-end collectors cars on offer. See the ad above, my question is, has anyone had any dealings with him/ her and the obvious one is "is it legit/ real?"

I read that, hard to tell but sounds like something aint quite right. Kidston, Fiskens, Lukas Huni and Klaus Werner sell plenty of cars privately but they don't advertise that they are doing so. We only know if the counterparties agree to a mention somewhere, not a front page ad as it were.
