Awesome, can you name the colour, please?

 

Its a Tailor Made metallic blue to match our 1951 212. They are going to let us name it, but we don't know what we will pick for the name yet.

Wow this gets even better, and may I ask what is the colour name of the 212? It's a lovely blue.

 

I would have to check for the actual name. We only submitted the paint formula code to TM and they used that to sample us on the color.

Thank you! The Lusso will be a keeper for sure. We chose the Heritage Mahogany leather for the interior, with Blu Medio leather for the areas where homologation is an issue, which will give it more of a vintage feel inside. Also, all the plastic exterior parts are going to be painted in matte Blu Pozzi.

 

Spot on! They were three of the demo cars at Silverstone this weekend. The car looked great in all colours and to my surprise the LussoT was a good drive too.

 

The paint color reminds me of a cold lake in November. Call it by the name 'blu freddo' .

 

Nelson, congratulations on a really spectacular GTC4 build and fantastic collection!! Well done! This is my favorite so far! The only thing I would like to point out is if you have not seen the Blu Medio leather in person, you should do it and compare it with Blu Sterling, and if they are still doing it also with Blu Scuro. My experience with Blu Medio is most people have a strong reaction either positive or negative. Blu Sterling will be more like traditional Navy Blue and Blu Scuro will be like Navy Blue with a lot of the color removed so it almost comes across as black.

Actually, we originally did have Blu Sterling when we were in Maranello back in April for the initial TM appointment, but after a second visit to the factory during the 70th celebrations, we decided to switch to Blu Medio. The good news is that this car will stay in our collection forever so it all comes down to personal preference. Thanks again for your kind words.

Absolutely love that TM interior, Chase! The Foglizzo leather in our TM 812S is similar. Look forward to getting these cars together.

He is my hero

 

Four weeks old and nearly 4,000 miles. Collected car and dashed off to Italy for the Portofino launch then down the coast, back up to Maranello, then down to Viareggio then back to UK via Switzerland, France, Belgium and again France.

First impressions;

So much more resolved than my FF
Much more 'up together' feel about the whole car,
Whisks up to 200 without hesitation, (after a suitable run in period of course)
Sounds like a banshee when let off the leash but quiet when needs be
Leather really thick and luxurious feeling (better than my FF)
Sat Nav an absolute dream
No rattles, nothing has fallen off.......blimey
Loving it and after only 4 weeks it could be a keeper.
