FerrariChat.com update - Month 1 Poll

I am beginning to appreciate a lot of the improved and new features that the FChat now offers. But the overall environment isnt quite as comfortable as before. I made myself stay on the new style for several weeks. It was not a good experience to say the least. I found I quit using FChat. So I'm back to the old style and getting by just fine. I just wish I could make it red like before. Thanks for caring.

 

Like it, but still a few things I'd like to see:

1) Ability to preview post by hovering when on a touchscreen computer
2) More than 50 posts/page

I think that's it. You guys have done a great job with the transition.

Took awhile to work out the small details, but very comfortable with the new F chat.

My status here has gone up a notch.
Who else has Silver/Rossa subscription at the same time

 

I did not vote as the second option is the closest for me but not accurate. I'm using the old theme and I do like some of the new features. I still don't like it on my iphone as so much is missing. I've started to reply on the "new posts" which is OK except I see lots of posts in sections I'm not really interested in. In general, I do have to say the efforts to make improvements and fix bugs has been very good.

 

I was not happy at first but I like it now. I use the blue color scheme which is more like the old site.

 

I am getting used to the changes - though I am only using the "old" style, which has improved since launched. And I intend to stick with that format. For many reasons I do not like, and have no interest in using the "new" style.

I have not tried to add any photos to any of my posts yet, and reading some user comments regarding errors and difficulty with doings so has kept me from any attempts so far. If it isn't very easy, and requires too many hoops to jump through, then I won't bother. Hopefully that will improve as have many of the features and initial launch issues. At least most changes seem to be positive and moving in the right direction.

Congratulations on all the work, and keeping an open mind/being receptive to most everyone's comments, suggestions, and opinions. Not an easy task.

There are somethings I like better, but in general I prefer the old vbulletin. With XenForo you have to actually go and mark all the posts read, and then again click to confirm it. Vbulletin just tracked that automatically.

 

Keep your hands off my "status" bar at the top.
During the changeover I noticed my current Silver subscription expired on Oct 1st 2017, so I figured out how to renew.
At least I think that is what I did ?
I am one of one, so I want to stay that way.
Rare and unique, you know like those 3 Ferraris from the 50s with ........ the same serial number.

Maybe you need a "smart" phone

 

I voted for indifferent. It took a few days to get used to but I don't really see much of a difference from the old program. I am not a huge fan of needing to Mark all Forums as Read, but whatever. It isn't a big deal.

I do really like the Alerts. Nice to see when someone replies to your comment instead of needing to search through threads.

 

Certainly growing on me.

It seems to require a lot of screen real estate to display stuff thou.
And I don't like that it lets Joker yell so easily all the time.

 

i still have to check "Do Not Like" without being able to have posts show newest first!

 

I know how you feel, Steve. I felt that way too at first, but I've acclimated.

I liked this old logo when it made a special appearance from time-to-time...

Cool. The updated F-chat seems much better with a browser than before. The Tapatalk interface is, however, acting up, but I assume this route is being deprecated in favor of a stand-alone app? Gotta check it out, once I get a chance...T

 

Still do not like at all the sponsors logo in grayscale
grayescale is depressing and has no identity. was much easier on the eye in color

just looks ridicules to see a yellow compass ad in grey or a fast car ad gray. Your killing their branding idenity

I find the new red layout to be too harsh, but I tried it for a while to see if my opinion changed, and it didn't. I finally switched to the "old" version, which is more like an update of the old version, and I really like that a lot.
If it's all the same in terms of cost and ease of moderation, I think having the different options available to suit different tastes is the best idea.
