After a long search I found an interesting color combination with some cool features, so far every Ferrari that I have own was either Rosso Corsa or Rosso Scuderia so it was time for a change.

Keith Humphreys at Ferrari of New England was in charge of the sale, this was the second car I had purchase from them and everything when very well. Other than the beautiful rare color the car has alcantara interior, contrast stitching and all interior carbon options except the door sills.

For those of you that know me I usually never drive stock, I must have personification in all of the cars that I drive so I have big plans for this one which I'll name "La FF".

    Plans:
-Exhaust, being the very first V12 Ferrari I own want to hear it.
    -Adjust the suspension lower
-HRE wheels, I am not a big fan of the 22" wheels on the car; I would probably stay on 20"/21" setup.
    -Titanium wheel bolts
-Novitec carbon parts, in particular the rear spoiler
-Stripes, I am thinking "a la" F12 TDF as a model.
    -Built in radar
    -LED interior and exterior bulbs
    -Paint protection
    -Tint

In this video you can see the rusted front grills as well as the side rear grills in light gray which I am not a big fan; I would much rather them in black to contrast the paint color.

Exhaust: on my experience some kind of higher flow cats or test pipes make a bigger difference on the exhaust note than the actual mufflers specially if the have valves with straight through flow.

Suspension: I usually lower cars by more than just 13mm; also I counter balance the suspension on scales.

Wheels: I would probably run 15mm spacers front and rear while I'm waiting for the wheels.

Carbon: overrated prices would be an understatement; $5,000 for the Novitec carbon spoiler makes it hard to pull the trigger not just for the money but the principal.

Radar: I actually like Valentine1; I run one on every car that I own. I was referring to hard wire it and get a windshield mount.

    Cheers!

I got the car on Saturday night; drove it to dinner with my wife and son and started the surgery on Sunday morning.

Engine air cleaners out: replace paper elements with BMC air filters
Front bumper out: pairing front grills in satin black
    Suspension out: adjusting spanners
Mufflers out: installing the Capristo valve switch

    Next:
Disassemble the front fender grills to paint them satin black
Disassemble the rear bumper to take out the rear grills
Disassemble the exhaust, primary cats and x-pipe to replace with IPE parts

22" will definitely be too much and almost impossible to drive unless you have perfectly smooth road surface.

A word of caution about BMC filters based on a reported case of it disintegrating and getting sucked into the engine of an AMG car. Of course, really no way to verify if true or not, but at least that's what a thread on AMG forum was about.

BTW, check out the latest radar detectors: Redline EX, Uniden R1/R3. The performance of these latest detectors from the past 6 months seems to have surpassed everything else preceding them.

Not many seem interested on my thread but for the sport I will continue to post.

I was able to take down the rear bumper and the rear grills in order to paint them sating black.

I also added washers/spacers on the upper control arms on the front and rear to achieve a better camber angle as the car will be lower.

Recently I have added the front bumper skid pads; unfortunately the car already had some light scratches from the prior ownership which I touched up prior the installation.

I also recently got the car back from Auto Super Shield in Boca Raton which I usually hire to get all of the vinyl work done. They did a full Paint Protection Film PPF on the car as well as Spectra PhotoSync window tint and some black vinyl work on the front and rear bumper, side rocker panels and center stripes a la F12 Tour de France, the two red pin stripes run into the interior of the car through the carbon air vents, carbon central tunel handles and rear carbon vents.

I currently have the cluster cover off as I am getting it re-warp, a common weakness on Ferrari leather dashes.

I like the colors, and what is that red on the interior? A little too low on the springs IMO. Spacers?

I had them continue the red pin stripe on the interior of the car. The car seat currently pretty low on OEM wheels with 15mm spacers but I haven't adjusted anything waiting on the custom HRE R101 Light Weight wheels to then counter balance the car.

I love the color - like the stripe - I'd black out the wheels. Great job!

    Thanks man.
I have HRE R101 Lightweight 10"x20" - 12"x21" brush dark clear on order through Wheels Boutique, they should be here soon. I will be running 275/35/20 at front a la F12 tdf and 325/30/21 a la Porsche GT3RS.

I also have the Novitec 3 piece carbon spoiler on the way though Wheels Boutique.
