Oi. Non original paint, title totaled/salvage.. compression numbers ? Clutch? Other svc history? Would be good for resto if the price was right.. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Theft Salvage sorry but no history because it was purchased from an auction 7 or 8 years ago. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Ok so how long have you had it then you don't mind me asking? And while you have had it, what has been done to it maintenance wise? Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
It could be a nice Ferrari again, but very few here I think would like the looks of a "murdered out" Ferrari Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
Just had it for a month, got it from a trade. I drove it around the block and parked it. I have not done anything to it. The guy said that it was up to date but did not have any records because he had his own mechanics on staff. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
No need to post negative low ball comments. Thank you for your inputs. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
To be fair, you don’t know the actual condition of the car, so it isn’t unreasonable that it could need significant $$$ to bring it back to top condition. But all the money in the world won’t change the salvage aspect of the car. If you can post a full PPI then you would have more grounds to even know what the car is worth. Otherwise putting a number on it doesn’t make sense. But hey, maybe when the proper due diligence is done you can strike a mutually beneficial deal with someone, so best of luck.
If it runs and drives I think the asking price is fair. The condition of the car can be found by a test drive and a good PPI. Mid 20's is a joke. It's worth more than that as a parts car.
Thanks John for the honest reply. It runs good. I will see if I can post videos from a couple of days ago. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Post some more pictures. Engine bay, trunk, dash, air bag and switches. Are any switches, dash vents, door handles sticky? Is the leather on the dash shrinking or pulling away from defrost vents or by windshield. Are the corners of the passenger's air bag curled up significantly" Dose it have books, tools? Does the top function correctly? (In case you don't know, to lower top the doors must be closed, hand brake on. Undo latch, push top back manually until it beeps. The use the top switch. Windows should lower slightly, seats move back, then top retracts.) Stock muffler and cats?
With the most due respect, I don't like to comment on price in a FS thread but you seem open to the discussion. As John said, 20's are a joke from the parts value but I must say, expecting a penny over 30k is likely to never happen. The market is down now, the market prefers original examples and in the US, non spiders. All of that and a salvage title = $30k maximum.
Interior is in good shape, I will take more pictures. Nothing sticky, has been in a warehouse for years as part of a collection of the ex~president of Death Row and other music industry companies. I don’t know about the top (just got the car a few weeks ago along with a couple of Porsche’s) so I have not gone thru everything. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat

not a fan of the matte black paint.. but for what it is.. it does seem/look to be well done.. as you can see, people are not too forgiving.. it does not seem you know much about the car. probably to your advantage to get the car looked over/inspected etc.. to give you more ammunition for your asking price. this could be a good example for someone to get into a 355 and just drive it without any values worries.. also, your pic of the gauge cluster.. looks to be at idle.. are both radiator fans kicking on..? because the water temp reading looks quite high for idle, the fans should kick on a hair past 190 and keep it there until it lowers gradually. this is a sign that one of the radiator temp sensors could be dead.. lastly is this a dealer sale or private sale..?
Really appreciate the input... you are right, I don’t know much about these cars mechanically. I got the car reluctantly and am trying to recoup some of my losses on the deal. It I think you are correct in that it would be a good inexpensive starter car for someone. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
