At concourso italiano during pebble beach car week 2014 one was parked in a far corner. Many visitors didn't notice this important car... http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/143363171-post61.html
Pretty sure it was this car I saw when I was younger at a Luxembourg Ferrari meet at Goodyears test track in Colmarberg where it easily won the race.
That was this car (#001) and me (next to it in the sport jacket) It was funny how many self proclaimed Ferrari anoraks guiding their less informed "students" around the field identified the car as a GTO Evouzione. It was hilarious watching some of them refuse to accept their mistake...
Ferrari SpA, by Ferrari Classiche, issued attestation for vehicles of historic interest to 308 GT/M #003 in 2009 At same time Ferrari issued the "white book" for the 250 Breadvan. Only few cars eligable: Michelotto 308s, F40 GT/GTE and maybe a few others.
Here is a video (of this particular car) taken by a kid who I gave a ride around the block by my shop. Turn the sound up https://youtu.be/70Qbiv4WQD0
I know that #002 was road registered in Italy. I'm not so sure how you would be able to license it in the states... I will leave that to your imagination. It certainly would make a wild point A to point A road car though.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have all technical factory files. A complete "book" Could easily built a full spec copy of the engine Including the MFI
Whoever buys this gem might also want to buy this mock up to hang on the wall Image Unavailable, Please Login
