Thenerar of the car is stunning, and the rest it's not bad either...
Ferrari F60 America : La couleur du N.A.R.T. | AUTOMOTIV PRESS A lot of detailed pictures for those who are interested.
Thanks for the pictures that show most of the design features. Some nice ideas there especially the side treatment and the rear view. Plus of course the 'aperta' feature. The front looks to be under a lot of stress. Like 20 pounds of flour in a 10 pound sack. Very poor effort and made worse if that is possible with the hint of the down market 'speciale' front treatment. That front was done before with the Aston Martin One-77 nose design and it has not improved that idea at all this time either. Even with a 100 % premium the open F12 would sell well. Can't believe the 'aperta' design here will only grace 10 production examples. Talk about leaving money on the table...wow!
I understand that Ferrari made 10 of these cars. Is there already sold one and are there pictures of the other ones. Gr. Xander
I wonder if the F60 coming to Canada gets a Canadian flag for the shield? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm sure it's somewhere on this board, but I'm not sure there was a Canadian dealership established the same year Chinetti had his, so the whole 60th/Canadian flag badge wouldn't make sense. Nevertheless, if one or more is coming to Canada it's all good.
It's been almost a year after the Beverly Hills event. The car is on display at Museo Ferrari (and I think the same F60 maquette because I have noticed a tailpipe wrong...the same) Has anyone news of the ten units? They were made? I have personally seen the car to the museum three days ago and I find it beautiful, awesome. There are photo and video only about the celebration day of the sixtieth anniversary and nothing else...
Where are these cars hidden? I hadn't heard of them for a while and I´d like to see one in a different (less flashy) spec.
Picture above was taken in the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, was there myself last Thursday. Lovely to see the car in combination with the SP10EC, LaFerrari, FXXK and the F150 test mule.
Is it possible that no one has news more or less based on other F60 except maquette exhibited at the museum? Has Ferrari abandoned this project? What happened?
I've wondered the same. The wheels are not the same as the car shown at Beverly Hills debut. They seem to be standard F12 wheels.
It's on test plate so I'm not surprised they use standard F12 rims for some tests. Btw, it seems the white stripe has disappeared, and the car is mounted of a strange hard/soft-top.
I think that this car is custom developed for each customer much more than any other special limited series .. almost like one-off. however, this project is very very mysterious
Maybe seeking advice on how to design a decent looking roof... Seriously, what the hell is that roof? Looks like an aftermarket piece Mansory could have designed. Love the F60 America. Would love to see them delivered.
